The most exclusive hotel on Hvar Island, the rooms are of medium size, and the sea view rooms are facing the port, so you can watch the ships coming and going. There are many restaurants next to the hotel, but it is still very quiet at night
Turn right after exiting the hotel gate, and there are several internet celebrity restaurants, as well as a path leading to the castle on the top of the mountain. There is a small supermarket next to the hotel in a 3-minute walk, making life convenient.
When the ship docks, the hotel will arrange a shuttle bus to help carry your luggage. When you get off the ship, just look for the hotel staff holding the hotel sign.

Genuine 5* hotel. Location right on main plaza and waterfront. Fabulous views. Excellent service from reception, concierge, etc. Room small, especially for a hotel of this class, but elegant. (Had trouble getting it to be warm enough - seems to be set centrally). Insufficient surface areas (to put stuff). Main issue is parking - 5-10 minute walk from hotel (no cars can reach hotel), and transferring luggage. Had help from bellboy, on very late arrival, but it was still tough. On departure, had golf cart drive us to edge of town, and we brought car around to load luggage. Hotel public areas very elegant. Expensive but worth it.

Staff was excellent! Everyone of them! They meet you at the ferry take your bags, Champagne when you get there. Breakfast was superb too.

A magical gem in the Adriatic, with a beautiful hotel as the best complement to our stay. The island was gorgeous - great architecture, character, history, scenery, and restaurants. The palace Elisabeth was the icing on the cake for the trip. Great location, decor, and staff.

This hotel sets the standard of Five-Plus Star Hotels! The staff is extremely attentive, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the amenities, including the pool and the restaurant, exceeded expectations. My room faced the port, and I enjoyed watching the ships come in. The food at the bar and the restaurant was extensive. The concierge made sure to provide connections to a wide variety of activities. The best aspect of this iconic hotel, with its unbelievable history tied to Empress Elisabeth of Austria, was the staff, who personalized their service to fit guests' every needs. The daily gifts set out in guests' rooms were such a nice surprise and ensured that guests would return for a future vacation. This hotel is the best you will experience in all of Europe.

Palace Elisabeth Hvar certainly charge 5 star prices but this hotel missed the mark for me. The rooms are on the small side; the pool is very average (indoors only) and the concierge booking support for local restaurants and excursions decidedly hit and miss. The waiting staff were all charming and the breakfasts very good. But overall this was not up to 5 star standards based on our recent holiday. They also made the mistake of offering compensation for a restaurant booking they failed to confirm - and then failed to follow through with their offer; a basic error to make in expectation management.

Beautiful 5* hotel located right next to the pier with lovely views. Hotel rooms, restaurant were fantastic as was the a la carte breakfast. Small but decent spa, gym and indoor pool. The staff and quality of service was exceptional. Would definitely stay here again when returning to Hvar.

Very beautiful hotel indeed, elegant, spacious and welcoming, spotless and a fabulous staff who made sure your every need was catered for in an unpretentious way, nothing was too much trouble. The decor and decadence of the whole hotel is just stunning.
