Wundervolles Cottage im Wald mit Blick aufs Meer, unweit mehrere Hot Tubs - wir haben diese sehr genossen und in 2 Tagen 3 mal genutzt. Im Cottage gibts Kochmöglichkeiten, Kaffeemaschine Toaster, Kühlschrank, eine Couch, zwei Stühle und einen Tisch, eine Veranda mit Tisch und Stühlen, das Bad ist nicht groß, aber ausreichend, das Schlafzimmer ist recht klein, einer muss über den anderen klettern, wenn er nachts raus muss, aber das war kein Problem für uns. Wir würden SOFORT wieder das Kaldbaks-Kot Cottage buchen, wenn wir wieder nach Husavik kommen. Es war die schönste Unterkunft in unseren 2 Wochen Island.

We stayed in a very cozy log cabin here during our Ring Road trip around Iceland. If you enjoy being out of town in a quiet setting with nature all around - this is your place. The cabin was cozy comfortable and efficient for a short stay. We were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day so we went puffin and whale 🐳 watching in Husavik and had a wonderful time. Saw many whales and puffins. Also found very nice hand made Icelandic sweater at the craft store in the harbor. Iceland is so pretty - we are enjoying our trip.

Second time there11 years apart. Absolutely magical place- we stayed in Villa, a gracious large home to ourselves. Friendly helpful staff. Just go there you won’t regret it!

My wife and I had a lovely stay at Kaldbaks-kot Cottages. Our cottage was very comfortable, clean and cozy (albeit the shower was a little small). We especially loved the property: there are walking trails through fields of lupines along the private lake, which is home to numerous species of birds. In addition to walking the trails, the owners provide numerous ways to enjoy the property, including boats to take on the lake, fishing poles, binoculars and a hot tub. Our cottage had impressive views: on clear days, we could see the snow-capped mountains on the other side of the Skjálfandi bay from our cottage. The location is a very short drive to Húsavík. We would definitely stay here again!

These lovely little cabins by the lake were one of my favourite stays in Iceland. It's so peaceful and quiet. The view was beautiful and the binoculars in the cabin meant we could relax watching the birds. The beds were super soft and comfortable and we slept so well. The space is small, but neat and there is space to cook on two rings so you don't have to go out for food. It's really near Husavik. There was an unseasonal storm while we were there, which caused a few problems with small leaks, but the staff helped us out with them promptly, and even brought us a flask of hot chocolate and cookies to enjoy while the storm was going on.

Die Cottages liegen traumhaft schön an einem See mit einer reichen Vogelwelt. Es ist dort sehr ruhig und man ist trotzdem schnell in Husavik. Die Besitzer legen viel Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit und gesundes Wohnen. Somit sind die Hütten sehr gut für Allergiker geeignet. Die Hütten haben einen unterschiedlich guten Blick auf den See. Wir mussten aufgrund der Verfügbarkeit einmal wechseln. Die kleinen Hütten sind richtige Tiny-Houses, aber gut durchdacht. Besonders schön sind die Hotpots, die regelmäßig gereinigt werden und 24 Stunden zur Verfügung stehen.
