Hyatt Place Ft Worth Hurst

We have stayed her in the past. This time when we arrived we asked for a non feather pillow, which they said they did not have. So we asked for extra towels and a pillow case. When we came back to the room there was a stack of towels, a pillow case, and they had set up another pillow case with towels stacked in it. The next day housekeeping showed up with 4 foam pillows. They were very accommodating and helpful. The staff was very friendly and everyone was helpful, the manager also asked if things were ok. Breakfast was also pretty good, scrambled eggs, either sausage or bacon, potato tots or french toast sticks. They also had oatmeal some days, cereal, yogurt, and some fruit, along with some other things.

Stayed at this location for a 2 night trip. It was extremely close to the Peppa Pig park which was one of our main destinations. We were also near Target and Walmart which is super convent when traveling with littles. Over all the room was spacious for the kid to run around and the living area was a great area for her to play. I did book 2 queen beds but was sized down due to availability.

Emily was quite helpful on the phone prior to check-in. I appreciated the mini fridge in the room. The custodian staff during the breakfast meal on Saturday were quick to clean tables after a guest had finished eating, when needed. The fifth floor custodian staff were friendly and courteous. The towels and linens were uncomfortably stiff. The door to the shower would stick often. The floor in the shower under the convenient and appreciated shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers was especially slippery. The door to the toilet/shower room had a lot of wear and tear around the door handle. There was a spider in my bed pillows. I killed it, because it surprised me. A more central light switch for the beds would be more convenient. The cushions on the couch slipped often. The rugs in the elevators were dirty, even after being vacuumed. The breakfast was tasty, but minimal. During my weekend stay, the food and drink stopped being refilled by 9:30 AM, even though many guests continued to come down to eat. I had to wait both days for food to be cooked. On Sunday, my preferred bread wasn't available, because it still needed to "thaw" according to the front desk lady who was helping the food staff. I felt like the weekend is understaffed. I added a day to my original stay, but my keycard wasn't programmed for it. I had to go to the front desk to get a new set of cards on the second day.

This is my favorite hotel in the DFW area. My only complaint is that you didn't have the good potatoes at breakfast.

Not bad, but not what we are accustomed to from Hyatt
