Best value for money, family run hotel, helpful owner safe and clean place , great location, nice restaurants and shopping centre around, very good and affordable Maxican restaurants just around the corner, 4minutes walk to bus stand , 3 minutes bus ride to train . From train station buy $14 weekly pass and off you go . This Pass works with all public transport buses and trains. Only 15 minutes ride in train to LA city from hotel , if you don’t want to spend too much money just to simply sleep , this is the place for you . But if you are looking luxury in Lido than this place is not for you . Yes they ask $50 cash deposit just to deter unruly young guests who enjoy damaging hotel property. Otherwise for normal guests no issues.

Water don’t work for the shower. Dirty room.

So my car battery died out upon checking out the receptionist was kindly enough to jump start my car. That shows me alot from the hotel. Definitely coming back soon for another family event in the area

Hinesty not as bad as expected from reviews Def no frills. Manager lives onsite, chevk in is family kitchen so "unfriendliness" attitude can come from their need for privacy maybe. Door locks at nigh, can get buzzed in. Lamp had no bulb. Air con worked beautifully. $50 "damage dep"at chevk in, cash OR card but cash us pushed for. Broken step on stairs, mended with tape, be careful. Old knob only door locks, bring a wedge or adalock. Great cuisine in the area, which is primarily hispanic. Small tiendes, but near to CVS and other large stores. Quiet at night, only some fire trucks, no police or other potential "bad neighborhood" expectations. Low income sure, but aafe for a night or two. Regular residents live there too. Check in easy, check out easy. Tv stuck on one channel only, with duplicate movies during the day, "scary" movies at night. Bring a tablet or hdmi/cast. Careful with the power outlets, its a very old building. Bathroom clean but small.

Don’t stay here This was horrible. Roaches everywhere.
