The Southgate B&B

I had a good night sleep while staying in the Southgate B&B. The room was sparkling clean and comfy. Chris was very warm welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. I definitely will stay in this hotel again if I visit Filey. 和家人在这儿住宿了一个晚上。房间很干净舒服，这儿的小镇也很宁静。如有机会，肯定会再回来住宿。 Thanks you !  Best from Darren

Two lovely owners Chris and Julie, They made us feel very welcome, Everything was first class and spotless. Would definitely recommend. Right in the heart of the village in Hunmanby, Outside the b/b were some decent pubs, and a fish and chips shop right next door, Plus other eating places were around the same area. Wish we could of stayed longer.

As a very picky couple we can confirm the other best reviews in every detail. When we visit the Filey area again we definitely know where to stay. Thanks Chris and Julie.

Chris and Julie were and are excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the family room (7) a double and a single which is located on the ground floor, for 4 nights, it is wheelchair accessible and has a good-sized wet room, with a shower seat and grab rails. It was ideal for us as mum had a stroke which affects her down one side and is in a wheelchair. Chris and Julie even moved the sofa so it was more accessible......thankyou. The dining area has a small step leading upto it which was easily overcome with the wheelchair and fitted perfectly under the table. The breakfast was gorgeous, piping hot and presented excellently. There isn't a single negative about this place and the village will meet all your requirements. Thankyou both so very much for a wonderful stay. See you soon. Andrew Julie and Wendy

Our stay here was exceptional - from the warm welcome and advice about local amenities through to the excellent full breakfast . The rooms were inviting, comfortable and filled with all the essentials for a happy stay. Our hosts were friendly, attentive but never overpowering - perfect in fact. I recommend the accommodation in this nice quiet village close to the bustling seaside in Filey for a relaxing break.

This is one of the best b&bs we've stayed in. Immaculately clean, comfortable room with comfortable beds. The host's couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful breakfast. Ideally placed for Scarborough, Bridlington and Filey. Definitely reccomend and will definitely be returning.
