Welcome to the "Red House". She was built in the 1800's out of solid old growth redwood. She has housed many farming families over her life time. She sits on an 80 acre ranch just two minutes outside of Ferndale the "Victorian Village". It was once an operating dairy farm. Currently we use the land for our young dairy calves. Our dairy is just down the road! We started renovating her in 2020. It has been a labor of love but she has life again! This 1800's farmhouse has been brought back to life! Located right on our dairy, your only neighbors will be our milking cows! This house was once uninhabitable but with a lot of hard work it has become a gem in our opinion. The house is very spacious yet cozy like a farmhouse should be. Of course we added all the modern amenities like wifi and central heating. At one point in the history of this house there was not even indoor plumbing! But of course we upgraded the plumbing too. During the day you will hear a tractor or two cruise by and our employees taking excellent care of the animals. There will always be a moo-moo here and a moo-moo there too! :) The house is a 5 minute or less drive to down town Ferndale. So close to everything yet quite and away from the hustle of the city! But lets be honest- there is no hustle and bustle in Ferndale.
