Qixi Time Homestay (Huizhou Huidong Shuangyue Bay Branch)

The hygiene wasn't up to par; there were a lot of stains on the bathroom walls, which was a bit hard to stomach. We left around 7 AM both days for fishing, but breakfast only started at 8:30 AM. We asked if there were any pastries or bread we could take with us, and were flat-out refused, the reason being that breakfast items are made fresh. This is the first time I've encountered such service at a guesthouse. As for the sweet soup in the evening, I wasn't wearing proper shoes and had my phone in one hand. The male housekeeper just shoved a bowl into my free hand without a second thought. I then had to find somewhere to put my phone, and carefully place both bowls of sweet soup myself. At all the guesthouses I've stayed at before, the housekeepers always gently placed things on the table for us.

This place is incredibly comfortable! I've been searching for a guesthouse where I could truly relax, and I've finally found it! You can just sit and gaze at the sea, letting your mind wander, without even needing to go out – it's a heavenly spot! All the stress from work just melted away the moment I saw this view! Absolutely full marks, it's fantastic!! We stayed for three days and two nights, and our housekeeper, Dian Dian, was super nice! The service was thoughtful, always responding promptly, and the other staff were very friendly too! The butler service, amenities, and even the toiletries provided by the guesthouse were incredibly considerate! The environment and hygiene were excellent – very clean! The restaurant here, with its breakfast and afternoon tea, was so exquisite! I'm someone who travels spontaneously and loves experiencing new places, and this is the first time I've felt sad to check out, hahaha! This calls for my very first positive accommodation review! 😎
