We tried to enter the bar at 22:30, given that Google says they close at 01:00am however security appeared out of the hedges to say they had closed and stop serving at 12:00 so i questioned why he is refusing entry at 22:30, we were a party of 5 and felt that security/bouncer lied to us to stop us going in with no reasonable explanation!!!

The Manor House was a delightful spot for afternoon tea! The décor was stunning, and the tiered serving dish was a treat, with delicious finger sandwiches, scones, and sweet bites. Friendly service and a relaxing atmosphere made for a perfect afternoon. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this restaurant. The service and food is exceptional. It’s not cheap but you pay for what you get. James and his team are so attentive. Would definitely recommend the Sunday lunch.

We came here for a wedding and wedding reception. Absolutely brilliant evening. The food was excellent, to say they were feeding 70 or so people, it was as if they were feeding just the table. I can't fault the food or the canapes before or the "street food" at the end of the evening. The staff were very, very good. Nothing was a problem for them. I know from speaking to the wedding party, they made the same comments. The staff were all about making the evening work well and they did. The staff were friendly, polite, helpful without being over the top. The venue is excellent, we didn't stay the night but it was lovely being there.

This is my favourite place to meet friends, my score is because the menu for The Kitchen is so odd, it’s lunchtime time could you do something a little bit more basic, you are trying too hard with this menu. I often come with a group of friends as the atmosphere is lovely but I can never find anything on the menu that I like. Other friends have said the same so we end up with a coffee only and go home hungry.

My husband and I got married in The Coach House May 2025 and let me tell you, it was PERFECT. I could not have had a better day. The weather was beautiful, my favorite people were there celebrating, but it wouldn't have been perfect without Gemma and team who made the entire day seamless. From the months leading up to the wedding, consistent communication, delivery day of the wedding and even the after touches. When all was said and done, my husband and I made our way to our room and we received a personalized engraved bottom of champagne for us to commemorate the day. If you're considering getting married, Manor House is your place! My guests still can't stop raving about the venue!

One of our favourite places to dine we went to our first themed evening yesterday. The Italian Evening took place in the bistro where we were treated to a feast of fabulous flavours. The antipasti selection was fantastic, of note the authentic focaccia, delicious burrata and the lamb arancini. By the time the main course of osso bucca arrived we were already full! However it was delightful, rich unctuous gravy and the smoothest polenta I’ve ever eaten. The pistachio cake and limoncello zabaglione was a fitting way to end a tremendous meal. The service as always was attentive, the ambience really quite authentic!

Sunday lunch outstanding. Food fantastic, everything about it was amazing. Tasty, presented well, homemade. The environment of the dining room was also a great atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and very lovely with us. The Sunday lunch suited us parents, our teenage kids and a mother-in-law! Great afternoon. We even bought some tasty ribs from the BBQ outside, to have at home. What a great time!
