Hotels near Huashan Self-Driving Tour Camping Site - Self-Service Camping Area, Huayin

1)Location: the hotel is within the Huashan mountains compound . West snd North ropeways are less than 8 minutes drive., An excellent starting point up the Mountains 2) A value for money at this hotel ; spacious room and clean environment and they have delicious local cuisine at the hotel. breakfast is also available, 3) The service by the owner and staff were excellent. Providing interesting information around the area as well as dropping us to the ropeways entrance and to nearby town area.

It was my first time to stay in a famous hotel. With just one phone call, the proprietress showed up to pick us up at the high-speed rail station and introduced us all the way. When we arrived, we found that it was really at the foot of Huashan Mountain, surrounded by mountains and rivers, and the air was sweet. I got up not too early in the morning, wrapped myself in my coat, and walked around in the slightly wintery atmosphere. Huashan Mountain was shrouded in mist, the branches were full of persimmons, and the kitchen had a strong smell of meat. It was great to live here! Thanks to the boss for allowing me to eat such delicious persimmons (taught me to take off the lid, wipe it with my hands, and suck it, it’s so sweet! The important thing is that I don’t need to wash it~.~)

A ginormous hotel with spectacular Mountain View’s, but not so many guests so felt like a ghost town. The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from the Huashan scenic area booking office, and a handful of restaurants, couple of coffee shops and massage salon. The main reason for this location is hiking and enjoying the amazing hot springs. There isn’t anything else nearby for those who are not interested in those two activities! Lots of hot spring pools, and a large swimming pool, which you access via the shuttle car, this runs every couple of minutes so super convenient. Room is very large, so is bathroom. Breakfast is sufficient, restaurant for dinner closes at 21:00 and didn’t try. Overall a lovely hotel stay.

This place is run by a very kind couple, they will take care of you fully through your entire stay in Huayin town! We visited Huayin to hike Huashan, and apart from taking a taxi to the guesthouse, all transport was provided by the boss - he drove us to the visitors centre for starting the hike, even coming to pick us when the ticket booth wasn’t open (Chinese public holiday) and drove us to the main visitor centre, and then he drove us to the train station on our last day. The lady boss helped to buy cableway tickets ahead of our hike so we wouldn’t have to queue. We also ate all meals here, as the food is great! The guesthouse is located in a small village at the foot of the mountain, a short walk from a small ticket booth for park tickets (only locals can buy Huashan tickets on WeChat, foreigners need to buy them in person). This ticket counter is closed on public holidays (no signs or announcements, we just bumped into some park staff who told us), so you will need to go to the main visitors centre (about 3 mins drive). You should download WeChat to communicate with the guesthouse - we messaged them and they helped to figure out what was going on, and sent a car to come get us. After descending from the mountain you may message them for pick up, but we chose to walk back to the guesthouse from the visitors centre (~10mins). It is really remote, there’s nothing much to do in the area apart from admire the views, but this is also precisely why this place is so lovely!

The hotel room is nice, the free parking lot is good, the sanitary conditions are basically satisfactory, the hot water is quite large, it is very comfortable to take a shower after climbing Huashan, the service is thoughtful, the hotel is not far from Huashan Visitor Center, the hotel also arranges free pick-up, which is very convenient, the breakfast is basically enough, there is a Shenxian Douhuazhuang restaurant not far away, which is not bad, the shortcomings are that the road after leaving the hotel needs to be improved

Hygiene: clean and tidy Environment: clear and transparent air Service: The boss was very nice. He picked me up from the high-speed train and took me to the hotel the next day. He also picked me up when I went hiking the next day. It was a perfect one-stop service🤙 Facilities: Very complete. The shower toilets are of high quality. Squatting on the toilet is convenient for the wind from the mountains to blow over. It is very comfortable. It is a very quiet and comfortable environment. Pick-up station: The boss's one-stop service is very good. If you haven't experienced a mountain view room yet, please come here. The price is very affordable and considerate.

During this trip to Xi'an, even the children evaluated this as the most comfortable hotel we stayed in. The beautiful view of Huashan outside the window, the large floor-to-ceiling windows, let me enjoy it in bed. Although the name is a homestay, it is cleaner than many star hotels! I like this very much, because I am also a bit clean. The house is very new and the boss is warm and thoughtful! The recommended food is really good! If I climb Huashan again in the future, I will definitely stay again.

The room was nice, new, clean and comfortable. However the food in the restaurant was very disappointing. Especially the breakfast which was empty of all food and was a mess when we arrived at 7:50am. We had paid for this breakfast for two mornings and were unable to eat it both times. Its very frustrating to not receive the breakfast that we paid for and then have to go out and pay for another breakfast elsewhere.

I booked a hotel with my friends to climb Mount Huashan. I rarely write reviews, but this hotel is really good. The lobby environment is clean and bright, the beautiful lady at the front desk is very welcoming, check-in is quick, and free afternoon tea is provided in the afternoon (the pastry twists and cookies are delicious, and the raisins and cherry tomatoes are very fresh) We booked a standard twin room with complete facilities, intelligent control, large space, good lighting, and bright. You can see Huashan Mountain when you open the curtains. The facilities are complete and hygienic and clean. The bed is very comfortable, the mattress is comfortable, the water pressure in the shower is high, the water is fast, the water temperature is comfortable, and the bath is comfortable. The internet speed is fast, and the breakfast on the first floor is also great. You can go hiking with a full stomach in the morning. There are also free washing machines and dryers on the first floor, so you can wash your clothes after hiking! The transportation is also very convenient. We took the high-speed train to Huashan North and booked a free pick-up at the hotel as soon as we left the station. The driver will call us in advance. The hotel is only one kilometer away from the visitor center. If you want to go hiking, you can ask the driver to take you to the visitor center, and then take a bus to Huashan. It is a very pleasant travel experience!

Although we only stayed in Yueshan for one night during this trip to Huashan, I felt it was worth it. The boss picked us up at the store when we left the North Station. The service attitude was superb. He also upgraded us to a family room for free. The room was clean and sanitary, with plenty of hot water. When the boss learned that we were going to stay on the mountain for one night, he reminded us to bring down jackets up the mountain, and to exit the scenic area at Dongshan Gate on the way back. He also gave us a business card and told us to contact them to pick us up if we missed the get-off point 👍👍. The restaurant provides breakfast and the chef's cooking skills are pretty good. On the way back, two of us ordered a big stew, which we found to be more to our taste than the food we had in the restaurant in Huayin County on the first day. The portion was large and the price was not expensive. If there is a flaw, it would be better if the bathroom could separate wet and dry areas😄😄
