The location of the hotel was amazing. Right on the top of the mountains. We couldn't ask for better. However, as an hostel, the rooms are very simple and the toilets were located at the exterior. Must of them were not in operation when we went. Otherwise, the staff was kind and helpful.

The rooms are very basic. I stayed in the winter and the heat was not strong enough so I had to wear some jackets to bed. However, if you want to stay at the top of Huashan without spending a ton of money this is your best bet.

There is no water supply on the mountain, which is beyond my imagination. There is no water even for rinsing your mouth in the morning. Maybe because of the lack of water, the bedding cannot be changed for each guest; the public toilets are dry toilets, and the accommodation conditions are very poor! For a five-star national scenic area, such a configuration is unbelievable to me! The scenery of Huashan is amazing. I hope the relevant departments will work hard to improve it and don't let these things hold them back!

You don’t have many options on the top of the mountain. Be ready that there is no shower.
❗️to get there faster, choose the longest bus (40rmb) and the longest cableway (120rmb)
+ the place looks authentic
+ traveling in winter might be cold, but the owner provides two heaters and it was nice
+ free hot water
+ close to the view point
