Hygiene: Clean and tidy, bedding is clean and comfortable
Environment: Surrounded by mountains and water, although it is on the roadside, it is very quiet to sleep and not noisy at all.
Service: The boss's service is very good. He provides free pick-up and drop-off at the scenic spot station and free drop-off at the town. He enthusiastically and carefully explains the Huangshan tour route and makes suggestions. With the boss's suggestions, we successfully visited the scenic spot during off-peak hours. Thank you very much.
In addition, the noodles for breakfast are very delicious 😄

GGuest UserShuishongshi Shanfang Hotel is a unique hotel with a strong artistic flair. Our room offered stunning mountain views the moment we opened the door, and at night, we could hear the gentle murmur of the stream. The young lady at the front desk who assisted us was incredibly kind and helpful; she planned a perfect hiking route tailored to our fitness level, which really compensated for the hotel not being situated at the very peak. As we set off for our hike, she even thoughtfully provided us with hiking poles. The driver who handled our transfers was also superb, ensuring seamless connections from the hotel to the trailhead. On our second day, when they helped us transport our luggage out of the mountain area, the hotel thoughtfully prepared bottled water and a lovely farewell gift.

There is no elevator in the B&B. The owner is very enthusiastic to help us move our luggage. The service is super good!
The owner is very nice. The driver of the carpool from Hongcun to Tangkou did not send us to the door of the B&B. The owner came to pick us up. He also sent us to the entrance of Huangshan at 5 o'clock the next day. The boss really worked hard. The driver from Huangshan to the high-speed rail station was also contacted by the boss. He is really responsible
We had dinner at the B&B. All five dishes were delicious and the price was very affordable. I was very satisfied

GGuest UserHongcun Yushan mountain scenery house is convenienly located near the South Gate of Hongcun Scenic area. We booked courtyard B which is located outside and behind the main hotel complex with breakfast included. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and had a small courtyard, but unfortunately no garden chairs or table to sit outside. In hindsight we woud book another room in the main complex next time. It has a lovely open garden and plenty of outdoor seating. I contacted the hotel before our stay and managed by using a voice translator to connect with the staff on Wechat. A friendly staff member met us at the entrance to the scenic area and entry is free of charge when you stay at the hotel. The hotel staff don't speak any English, but they were very helpful and friendly and we got along fine using Wechat and other translators. I won't recommend eating dinner at the hotel as there are many local Chinese restaurants in the ancient village. The hotel offers a coffee shop in the lobby and has a number of options, like Americano, Latte etc. The coffee is very good, but I felt it was a bit pricey for the cup size. The hotel breakfast is Chinese with no Western options, and it is served in unique way in a tray. I enjoyed the breakfast, but my husband would have liked more western options. On our arrival the room was already pre-heated and the beds in the room were comfortable. It was snowing lightly when we arrived and there were umbrellas available in the room. They also provide vanity items. We visited just before the Chinese New Year tourist rush at the beginning of the holiday and this was a very good location and time to visit despite the cold weather. The ancient village was not too crowded and it was nice to walk around in the evenings and daytime with the hotel is situated conveniently right next to the South lake. Drone flying is allowed which can give drone flyers an aerial view of the village. Depending on your iterinary a one night stay is sufficient to visit Hongcun and the nearby Xidi ancient village then move on to another hotel at the foot or top of the mountain or Tunxi village. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to travelers wanting a good hotel experience in Hongcun.

GGuest UserOur stay here was absolutely perfect! The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming. They not only gave us a detailed overview of the Huangshan climbing routes but also helped us plan the most efficient itinerary, saving us a lot of time and effort. Even more thoughtfully, the owner helped arrange pick-up and drop-off services, making our journey from the high-speed rail station to the guesthouse completely hassle-free – a huge relief, especially since we had a lot of luggage! The guesthouse location is fantastic, being very close to the entrance of the Huangshan scenic area, which made early morning departures incredibly convenient. The owner even provided hiking poles, truly showcasing their meticulous and thoughtful service!

Ggladiersi had a really pleasant stay here, but what stood out the most was the staff — especially 宋书琳. i reached out to her very last minute when i realised i might not be able to catch my train (which meant i’d miss my flight too), and she went above and beyond to help. she patiently guided me through everything — from what time we should start heading down the mountain, to when the cable cars and buses start operating. she even went the extra mile to contact a driver she knew to make sure we had transport that early in the morning. all this was outside of her working hours, which made me even more grateful. thanks to her, everything went smoothly and i managed to catch my train and flight.
the hotel itself is also conveniently located in the centre, with restaurants and shops nearby. overall, a great experience and i’m really thankful for the warm hospitality.

在我快要出发的前一晚，才突然发现自己很可能赶不上火车（如果错过火车，就意味着也会错过已经订好的航班），当时真的非常着急。幸好联系到了宋书琳，她非常耐心又细心地帮助我，从什么时候该开始下山、缆车和巴士的运营时间，都一步步为我解答。她甚至还特地联系了一位熟悉的司机，担心我们一大早在山里打不到车。最让我感动的是，她做这些的时候其实已经下班了，却依然尽心尽力地帮助我。正是因为她的帮助，我才能顺利赶上火车和航班，真的非常感谢！
酒店的位置也很方便，就在中心地段，附近有餐厅和商店。整体体验很好，很感谢这里的热情与周到。

GGuest UserThis stay really exceeded my expectations! I booked this place after seeing the recommendation in a book before the holiday. Through communication, I felt that the boss was very nice. He would patiently help me read the guide and give thoughtful suggestions on attractions and meals. The homestay is quiet and comfortable, the room is exquisitely decorated and warm, the bedding is soft and clean, and it is so comfortable to sleep~ The landlady is warm and thoughtful, and prepared local specialty snacks for us. The meals cooked at home are also very delicious, especially the fried meat with fresh bamboo shoots, which is super delicious. We also provided pick-up and drop-off services for our mountain climbing the next day. In the evening, we wanted to buy things at the entrance of the scenic spot. In order not to let us get scammed, we drove ourselves to take a detour to buy. When we left, we also took us to a delicious restaurant where locals go. The female boss really paid full marks for details. I strongly recommend it to friends who come to Huangshan to relax. I will definitely come again on my next trip❤️

GGuest UserLocation = Great location. It is at Tangkouzhen. The hotel itself has a restaurant within its premise. There are mini markets nearby for you to stock up on snacks and other food stuff and beverage. It is about 30 minutes bus ride to Huangshan.
Cleanliness = Excellent. Everything is in order. It has a smart system where the drapes are opened and shut with a touch of a button. The rooms are spacious and everything you need in a room is there and there was not once we need to call the helpdesk. Service = Excellent. There is a manager who is very hospitable that gave us a lot of information on the food and weather and the preparation for the Huangshan trip. There is also a tour agent who helped to arrange for the transportation to and from Huangshan which is also very helpful and patient. Facilities = Excellent. There is a laundry room with dryer without additional charge. There is a massage service available in case you need it after Huangshan hike. The restaurant's food is tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful in helping us to book the transport to Tunxi and back. There were 5 of us so, if we used the taxi we would need to book 2 but they suggested and helped us to get a 7-seater. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here.

The white architectural style is particularly outstanding, giving people a great feeling. The food ordered from the kitchen is also very delicious.
The service is also excellent. They can drop you off at the South Gate Transfer Center both when going up and down Huangshan Mountain. The staff are enthusiastic and polite. They will help me handle any requests I have. I'm really grateful. The hygiene is very clean without any corners overlooked. The sofa and sheets are spotless. I had a great time staying here.
