GGuest UserThe homestay is close to the town. It is very convenient to eat and buy things. The boss is particularly responsible. He contacted one day in advance. He also prepared a pick-up service. He warmly reminded me to go up the mountain and gave a lot of pertinent suggestions. He sent us to the visitor center early in the morning. Take the shuttle bus ～ The homestay is very hygienic. Electric toilet, hot water is also hot in seconds, the room design is also very personal, the window is the mountain view, it feels particularly comfortable, if you have the opportunity, you will go again ～

Prior to stay, the staff are very prompt in helpful Q and A. Services are exceedingly good, excellent and accomodating. All staff are friendly, approachable, and careful to details. Sharing local culture and history, and place of interest. Outstanding concierge service.
Our stay include Tea appreciation, sumptuous dinner (2 choices), and hearty breakfast (2 choices). We were given complimentary drinks at bar, and alternative dishes to met dietary requirement. Very useful that hotel provide Hotel-Train station transfer. service, and other short distance ride to Huangshan hiking entrance (saved a lot of time).
Staff helped us booked our Cableway tickets which saved us time to queue for tickets and avoid buying wrong tickets.
Very spacious open concept, clean and modern room and furnishings like king size bed, large Sofa, round Table TV. Balcony with lush tranquillity view of nature full of mountainous greenery and waterfall. Sound of nature (cicada) and fortunately room comes with good sound proofing sliding door.
Bath tub, shower area, and WC with build in sensor and biget spray. Standard Amenities are provided. Electric source is China 2-pin 3-pin plug standard and USB.
Hotel is located within the Huangshan park (?). Saving us time in getting clearance at Park security office as the Driver brought us through the security checks with ease. We felt like VIP.
Hotel is a short drive away to nearest cableway (called ‘hot spring’ cableway etc.). Do bring rain coat as weather up in the mountain is unpredictable. It rained when we reached up at ‘Yuping’ cableway. Hotel staff offered us rain coat.
We have a skilful driver to transport us safely form our Hotel-Train station transfer.

The owner upgraded me to a moon-viewing room for free. The scenery was really great. I had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. I was very satisfied with the dinner order. Every dish was delicious. Eight dishes + a few bottles of beer and drinks cost about 60 to 70 yuan per person. I recommend everyone to come. Attached is a picture of the scenery seen from the floor-to-ceiling window in the morning.

PPJQLocated beside the South Entrance to the village and facing the water-body (see photo of hotel with red banners). Unlike most hotels within the village, this hotel has conserved the architecture of the exterior and interior of the over 300 years old structure. It is well maintained with modern amenities and a nice manicured garden filled with bonsai plants. The Chinese breakfast was simple and nice. The menu has a good range of beverages and the food was good at reasonable prices.
The room we stayed was small but cozy. It is within the main building and just outside the room there is a reading lounge. It was quiet and hardly used while we were there.

AAnonymous UserI would describe this place more as a phenomenal bed and breakfast than a hotel, etc. Very hospitable and friendly host. They offer an exceptional breakfast which I have not experienced at my previous accommodations. Their place and rooms also have a nice and homely atmosphere with a lobby containing games and inspirational quotes on the walls and a cute cat. They also provide recommendations and guidance on which paths to choose on Mount Huangshan depending on what your goals are. The location is only a 10-15 min walk along the river to the Mount Huangshan shuttle buses which go to the cable cars to start your hike.

GGuest UserIrreplaceable Location: Right near Guangming Peak, it’s the prime spot for sunrise, sunset, and sea of clouds! Watching the sunrise requires no long trek in the morning, saving significant energy. Just a short walk (about 15-20 minutes) from the hotel door gets you to the best viewing point – friendly for families with seniors/children or anyone wanting to avoid exhaustion!
Clean & Cozy Rooms: Mountain-top conditions are limited, but the room was exceptionally clean and tidy. The bedding was dry and comfortable (crucial in the humid high altitude!), and being able to take a hot shower and sleep soundly after a day of hiking was pure bliss.
Window to a Fairyland: Our room window faced the valley. When mist swirled, it was like a fairyland, on clear days, we could admire the majestic, overlapping mountain peaks. Lying in bed enjoying the mountain views – it's totally worth it!
Breakfast: The variety at the mountaintop buffet breakfast was impressive for such a high altitude. Getting a hot, filling breakfast like this at 1,800+ meters to fuel up for the day's adventures was absolutely essential and deeply satisfying!
Special praise for Steward Huang(黄星华)! Her service was super warm and attentive, providing loads of practical information from check-in guidance to itinerary suggestions. Upon checkout, she thoughtfully gave us a small gift. While not expensive, this gesture felt incredibly warm and heartfelt.

Every need was taken care of and the staff went beyond lengths. We made the right choice and gladly return again. Perfect for the old street, the mountain and the old village. YYing ChiThis stay was a 12/10! Firstly, the exterior of the hotel was stunning first look as you enter. Then, they let us store some of our bags here that we did not need to bring to the top of the mountain for one night so we didn’t need to carry so many things which was extremely helpful. Then, from the hotel they drove us to the south entrance & the car was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel also provides complimentary breakfast & laundry!! So good. The following day as we came back from the mountains, we were given a number to contact someone from the hotel to come pick us up and bring us back to the hotel! There were many employees there to assist us when we arrived. One was helping us check in, another was telling us about their room service and showing us the menu. As we were getting our bags that we left, a female employee helped us carry all our heavy bags by herself and kindly showed us where our room was. Even when we tried to help her, she would say its okay. Moreover, when we arrived into our rooms, the first look was that it was extremely neat and tidy, the atmosphere had a homey comfortable vibe, smells nice and very spacious for a family of 4! Highly recommend to stay here! They also go out of their way to help us with special requests and showed they sincerely cared for their guests happiness. ＜3

MmatrocksA much better hotel comparing to BaiYun hotel in terms of the condition of the facilities and rooms. It is just newer, better and serve better FOOD . But since Baiyun is located in the Front Mountain , and Xihai on the back mountain , one would still have to stay at BaiYun if they are planning to climb front mountain , and one have to stay at XiHai if planning to climb Back Mountain. Remember Huangshan is divided into 3 areas , Front , Back and DaXiaGu with 73 peaks in total ! If you dont mind the cost , XIhai hotel is the best hotel if you are climbing the Back Mountains. Note : Huangshan is just too big , you need to see the map and plan properly before attempting ! The photos i posted is the view from the hotel !
