Very recommended. Will definitely stay at this hotel again. Good location within walking distance to Huangshan scenic area, lots of restaurants and minimarts nearby. The hotel itself is superb. We stay at a family room for 3. The room itself has 2 storey with spacious toilet and a sofa, and a double bed and a single bed upstairs. Breakfast is tasty with various local dishes but the same kind of food in our stay for 2 days there. The hotel provides free 24 hr laindry room with commercial washers and driers.

Hygiene: Clean and tidy, bedding is clean and comfortable
Environment: Surrounded by mountains and water, although it is on the roadside, it is very quiet to sleep and not noisy at all.
Service: The boss's service is very good. He provides free pick-up and drop-off at the scenic spot station and free drop-off at the town. He enthusiastically and carefully explains the Huangshan tour route and makes suggestions. With the boss's suggestions, we successfully visited the scenic spot during off-peak hours. Thank you very much.
In addition, the noodles for breakfast are very delicious 😄

There is no elevator in the B&B. The owner is very enthusiastic to help us move our luggage. The service is super good!
The owner is very nice. The driver of the carpool from Hongcun to Tangkou did not send us to the door of the B&B. The owner came to pick us up. He also sent us to the entrance of Huangshan at 5 o'clock the next day. The boss really worked hard. The driver from Huangshan to the high-speed rail station was also contacted by the boss. He is really responsible
We had dinner at the B&B. All five dishes were delicious and the price was very affordable. I was very satisfied
The scenery in front of the B&B is very good and it looks good for taking pictures

PPJQLocated beside the South Entrance to the village and facing the water-body (see photo of hotel with red banners). Unlike most hotels within the village, this hotel has conserved the architecture of the exterior and interior of the over 300 years old structure. It is well maintained with modern amenities and a nice manicured garden filled with bonsai plants. The Chinese breakfast was simple and nice. The menu has a good range of beverages and the food was good at reasonable prices.
The room we stayed was small but cozy. It is within the main building and just outside the room there is a reading lounge. It was quiet and hardly used while we were there.

AAnonymous UserI would describe this place more as a phenomenal bed and breakfast than a hotel, etc. Very hospitable and friendly host. They offer an exceptional breakfast which I have not experienced at my previous accommodations. Their place and rooms also have a nice and homely atmosphere with a lobby containing games and inspirational quotes on the walls and a cute cat. They also provide recommendations and guidance on which paths to choose on Mount Huangshan depending on what your goals are. The location is only a 10-15 min walk along the river to the Mount Huangshan shuttle buses which go to the cable cars to start your hike.

JjessicazengIn April, I stayed at Baiyun with my mom for a night. The room is small and not soundproof (neighbors may be loud, but the hotel can provide earplugs), but it’s very comfortable, cozy, and clean. We got a room with a slanted roof, and a small sitting space near the window. The shower pressure is very good, and the water gets hot quickly. There’s even a bucket to soak your feet after hiking, and thick jackets and a flashlight for usage outside.
The service is very attentive and courteous. When we arrived, staff 叶鹤菲 (Ye Hefei) showed us around the room, and later even gave us some gifts (some fruit, tea leaves, and local snacks). Via wechat, she sent us info on the hotel, weather and sunrise conditions. The buffet dinner was 160rmb, while breakfast buffet was included - pretty tasty with many options. It’s expensive, but understandable knowing that all the food has to be carried up through the hard work of manual labor.
It takes a while to reach Baiyun Hotel from Yungu cable car, but it was worth it! You can see the sunrise from the nearby Aoyu Peak (~10-15min hike up) or Guangming Peak (~20-30min hike up, more tiring). At Aoyu Peak (which they recommended), I was able to see 云海 (sea of clouds), which was very beautiful. Hopefully the weather is good (the days before it was very foggy and cloudy, low visibility). GGuest UserWhen visiting Hongcun, it is definitely more convenient to stay in the scenic area.
We chose the Qingyin Caolu B&B, which is located in a quiet area amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. It only takes 2 minutes to walk into the alley from the big tree at the entrance of the village. My kid and I stayed in Yuese Xishi room, which had a big bed and a big window. The weather was fine and the view from the window was stunning.

EENG KIATThe location is quite tricky as there are 2 similar hotel names so you need to pick the correct one for the taxi. The shower temperature was difficult to adjust and ended up hot all the time. When we came back late, no one answered the entrance and we were stuck waiting. In the positive side, the staff does appear trying their best to meet our needs.

YYing ChiThis stay was a 12/10! Firstly, the exterior of the hotel was stunning first look as you enter. Then, they let us store some of our bags here that we did not need to bring to the top of the mountain for one night so we didn’t need to carry so many things which was extremely helpful. Then, from the hotel they drove us to the south entrance & the car was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel also provides complimentary breakfast & laundry!! So good. The following day as we came back from the mountains, we were given a number to contact someone from the hotel to come pick us up and bring us back to the hotel! There were many employees there to assist us when we arrived. One was helping us check in, another was telling us about their room service and showing us the menu. As we were getting our bags that we left, a female employee helped us carry all our heavy bags by herself and kindly showed us where our room was. Even when we tried to help her, she would say its okay. Moreover, when we arrived into our rooms, the first look was that it was extremely neat and tidy, the atmosphere had a homey comfortable vibe, smells nice and very spacious for a family of 4! Highly recommend to stay here! They also go out of their way to help us with special requests and showed they sincerely cared for their guests happiness. ＜3

MmatrocksA much better hotel comparing to BaiYun hotel in terms of the condition of the facilities and rooms. It is just newer, better and serve better FOOD . But since Baiyun is located in the Front Mountain , and Xihai on the back mountain , one would still have to stay at BaiYun if they are planning to climb front mountain , and one have to stay at XiHai if planning to climb Back Mountain. Remember Huangshan is divided into 3 areas , Front , Back and DaXiaGu with 73 peaks in total ! If you dont mind the cost , XIhai hotel is the best hotel if you are climbing the Back Mountains. Note : Huangshan is just too big , you need to see the map and plan properly before attempting ! The photos i posted is the view from the hotel !
