Thinking of finding a quiet place to rest for two days after climbing Huangshan Mountain, I looked at the location and chose this B&B. I like the scenery of the hotel very much. It is located in the valley. The room has a large balcony and a view. Every day, I listen to the bamboo forest and the gurgling stream. It is really relaxing. The hotel's dried bamboo shoots noodles are delicious, and the fruits are also very sweet. My wife loves to eat that Babagan. Because the hotel is temporarily out of stock, the boss went home to find it and sent it over. The hot spring has a very good viewing angle. You can overlook the main peaks of Huangshan Mountain and watch the clouds roll and unfold. The Jiulong Waterfall Emerald Valley around the hotel is also a good place to go. The boss is very enthusiastic and arranges pick-up at any time, which makes travel much more convenient. The hotel housekeeper is also very good. You can ask for anything at any time. My wife is very satisfied with this accommodation arrangement. We are already thinking about the arrangement for the next visit. It is highly recommended.

Comfortable base for a sunrise run-and-gun. Staff added me to a handy WeChat feed that pushed real-time sunrise/sunset tips; thanks to that, Danxia Peak (20-min walk) delivered a great dawn view. Room was modern, warm, and clean; Wi-Fi and hot shower both fine. Food is flavourful and enjoyable but very “mountain canteen” and strictly Chinese—don’t expect pastries or espresso. Prices are high, as everywhere on Huangshan, but service is friendly and the views were great! Overall: solid choice if you want easy access to the peaks with hotel-level comfort. I’d stay again.

This is by far the most satisfying hotel I've ever stayed at. **Facilities:** The most remarkable feature is the hotel's powerful ventilation system. While other facilities were also excellent (and expected given the price point), even in our relatively compact room, after my kids enjoyed instant noodles and a hot pot, and all four of us dried our rain-soaked shoes, there was absolutely no lingering odor. **Service:** I truly appreciated the warm, yet professional service from every single staff member. The laundry and drying service, in particular, was a lifesaver in Huangshan's unpredictable weather, making it incredibly valuable. The hotel package also included mountain entrance and cable car tickets, which, despite the slightly higher price, made the overall stay feel like excellent value considering these bundled services. When we ordered wine, the server thoughtfully brought complimentary snacks. If there was one minor imperfection, it would be that some of the power outlets in the room were a bit loose, causing plugs to sometimes wiggle.

It's said to have just reopened in September of this year after renovations. After ascending the Yungu Cableway from the back mountain, it's a short, gentle staircase to the Beihai Hotel. Next to it is the ”Dream Pen and Flower” (Dream Pen and Flower). If you want to watch the sunrise, you can head to Shixin Peak, which is also not far away. The hotel staff were very warm, polite, and friendly, especially our housekeeper, Xinyu. We added her on WeChat before check-in and provided attentive and prompt service until check-out! The hotel's decor rivals that of a resort hotel, and the rooms include a capsule coffee machine, a leg massage chair, and a library. During my three-day, two-night stay, I enjoyed both lunch and dinner at the hotel buffet. The mountain hotel's lunch and dinner prices of 98 and 180 per person were quite good, which I found quite impressive! All in all, staying at the Beihai Hotel was definitely the highlight of my Huangshan trip!

This stay has completely reset my benchmark for domestic accommodation in China; it's currently my absolute top pick. I'm not sure whether to categorize it as a hotel or a guesthouse, but frankly, it doesn't really matter. It's located directly opposite Beihai Hotel, next to Mo Bi Sheng Hua, and right beside the police station. You'll find a discreet wooden door, easily missed, down a hidden path. Once you step inside, it's like entering a whole different world. The entire property is designed like a quaint little village, with all rooms thoughtfully nestled on the mountainside. All buildings are beautifully renovated historical structures. I booked the 'Yun Yi' room, which comes with a private courtyard featuring a small soaking tub. After a day of hiking, soaking in the tub to soothe tired muscles, with the stars and moon as your companions above, was simply wonderful. From the moment you book, you won't have to worry about how to get up the mountain or how to explore; your dedicated butler will arrange everything. They offer VIP access to the mountain: a driver will pick you up from your location at the foot of the mountain at the appointed time and take you directly to the cable car station, where you'll use the VIP lane to board without any wait. You won't have to concern yourself with the crowds at the South Gate or the queues for the cable car – none of that affects you. We visited on a Saturday during the summer holidays. The driver picked us up at 7:30 AM, and we genuinely arrived at Yunjia before 9 AM. You get the picture? While the room amenities and finishes might not rival the luxurious villas of Banyan Tree, Aman, or Six Senses, it's important to remember that the property is located within a scenic area, meaning construction and footprint are restricted. Moreover, every single item has to be carried up the mountain by porters from the foot of the mountain. However, the service here is absolutely exceptional – truly top-tier. It's not just one or two staff members who provide excellent service; it's the entire team. Their service is entirely proactive; guests barely need to voice a request as the staff anticipate your needs before you even think of them. This level of intuitive and attentive service is genuinely rare and incredibly difficult to achieve. Given that Yunjia's rooms are almost always fully booked during the summer, it's clear that the price isn't the issue when it's truly worth every penny. I will absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Huangshan. Thank you, Yunjia, for an unparalleled and truly exceptional accommodation experience.

**Pros:** The location is superb, just a short walk from the South Gate Transfer Station. While the hotel facilities are a bit dated, they were perfectly acceptable. The price was quite high, but understandable given that we visited during a summer weekend, which is the absolute peak of peak season. A big plus is the hotel's hot springs, which were heavenly for unwinding and easing our tired muscles after hiking Huangshan. **Cons:** It was quite humid, but honestly, that's to be expected when you're at the foot of Huangshan; I doubt anywhere there isn't humid.

We were sitting on the terrace of Shanyu B&B, feeling the mountain breeze waft through the bamboo fence. The wooden tables and chairs were warmed by the sun, and in the distance, the rolling mountain ranges sprawled out like an ink wash painting. Even the air was filled with the fresh, sweet scent of vegetation. The room's amenities showcased thoughtful design, each detail as comforting as a warm greeting from an old friend. The guide, arranged by the host, would point out squirrels hidden among the leaves around every corner and recount ancient tales as we walked along the stone-paved paths. As dusk descended, the distinct aroma of fermented mandarin fish would reach us first, its rich, savory notes warmed by the charcoal fire. And the free-range chicken soup, with its golden oil glistening on top – one spoonful brought the pristine freshness of the mountains flowing like a stream across the palate. It turns out the best kind of travel is when life itself becomes a poem, and Shanyu B&B is precisely the gentle pen that writes it.

Majestic Peaks: The mountain's iconic peaks, like Lotus Peak and Bright Summit, offer breathtaking panoramic views. * Ancient Pines: Twisted and gnarled pine trees add character to the scenery, their silhouettes standing out against the sky. * Sea of Clouds: A unique phenomenon where clouds engulf the mountaintops, creating a mystical and ever-changing atmosphere. * Bizarre Rock Formations: The Flying Stone and the Monkey Watching the Sea are just a few of the fascinating rock formations that add to the mountain's mystique. Hiking and Trekking: Huangshan offers a variety of trails for hikers of all levels. The most popular route, the Western Scenic Highway, winds through the heart of the mountain, offering stunning views and opportunities to explore ancient temples and pagodas. Tips: * Wear comfortable hiking shoes. * Bring plenty of water and snacks. * Allow ample time for hiking and exploring. * Consider staying overnight at a mountaintop inn for a truly unique experience. Overall: Huangshan is a must-visit for nature lovers and anyone seeking a truly unforgettable experience. Its dramatic beauty and unique atmosphere will leave a lasting impression.

Shuishongshi Shanfang Hotel is a unique hotel with a strong artistic flair. Our room offered stunning mountain views the moment we opened the door, and at night, we could hear the gentle murmur of the stream. The young lady at the front desk who assisted us was incredibly kind and helpful; she planned a perfect hiking route tailored to our fitness level, which really compensated for the hotel not being situated at the very peak. As we set off for our hike, she even thoughtfully provided us with hiking poles. The driver who handled our transfers was also superb, ensuring seamless connections from the hotel to the trailhead. On our second day, when they helped us transport our luggage out of the mountain area, the hotel thoughtfully prepared bottled water and a lovely farewell gift.

The hotel's low ceilings gave it a slightly enclosed feel, and the facilities are clearly showing their age. However, in all other aspects, they truly go above and beyond. The bedding was wonderfully plush and comfortable, and the toiletries were high-quality from renowned brands. We were treated to complimentary mini-bar snacks, fresh fruit, and afternoon tea, along with free shuttle service and luggage assistance. Responses to all our WeChat inquiries were incredibly prompt. We skipped breakfast at the hotel to get an early start on our hike, but the two dinner dishes we ordered were quite good. Its proximity to the Yungu Cableway is a major plus; staying here the night before allowed us to take the Yungu Cableway up and Yuping Cableway down the next day, which effectively helped us beat the crowds.

LLx19901128A very good stay experience! First of all, the geographical location is convenient. It takes 30 minutes by car to Huangshan Taiping Cableway. It is also convenient to go to major scenic spots, saving a lot of transportation time. The breakfast is even more of a surprise, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western buffets, and freshly made local snacks. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is great, which starts the day full of energy! What is most impressive is the service here! The housekeeper Xiao Zhu was considerate and attentive, and took the initiative to ask about our needs; Miss Wang at the front desk was enthusiastic and professional, and not only patiently helped us plan the best travel route, but also helped us book tickets for Huangshan. Their smiles and service made us feel truly at home. Such a great location + delicious breakfast + amazing service, the price-performance ratio is really great! I have recommended it to my friends and will definitely stay here next time!
