Hotels in Tunxi/Liyyang Old Streets, Huangshan

This B&B is our most impressive stay during 13 day trip in East China. Charming decorations, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast and most importantly, their hospitality!! Jacky is the warmest host. He did a great job in serving his guests. We felt like we are his friends rather than customers. He gave so many good advises on the Huangshan walk routing, taxi booking to Chemgkan and also good place to dinner. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night here and it rained In the early evening so not much chance to explore Tunxi as we wished.

Awesome! I’m European and needed two nights to relax and enjoy a cute old center. The location is perfect, right at the centre and calm. The staff was awesome and super kind (they changed my room because sth was off) and the breakfast is simple and will fill you up. It was a lovely stay and can’t recommend a better place!

I like the room very much, it's a twin room with a lot of space. Because I couldn't confirm the exact arrival time at Huangshan North, I contacted the manager Huahua just before I got on the bus, and he immediately arranged a driver to pick me up at the station. The driver in the fleet was also very nice, he dropped me off near the hotel for free, and helped me contact the uncle in black clothes in the store, who kept helping to carry the suitcases. I walked slowly with my mother. When leaving the next day, Huahua helped carry the suitcase again, feeling very embarrassed. We took another driver's car in the fleet to the hotel in Tangkou Town. The scenery along the way was really beautiful. A stay experience beyond imagination.

The service is very good, the environment is nice, you can go to the old street when you go down, it is a very good characteristic hotel, I recommend it to everyone. Stay here to experience the characteristic architecture, snacks, and humanities of Huizhou Old Street, and experience it slowly.

This is my second time coming to Huangshan. I didn’t climb Huangshan last time, so I gave it a challenge this time. I would like to highlight the housekeeper brother. He has worked at the top of Huangshan Mountain for several years. He is a Huangshantong. He introduced the route up the mountain and precautions in detail. He was worried that we would go the wrong way. He also added WeChat and gave us a message if we encountered a fork in the road and didn’t recognize it. He was very enthusiastic when making videos! The whole process from check-in to check-out was very comfortable. The hotel has a high-speed rail pick-up service. We came from Hefei and the hotel driver contacted us in advance before we got off the high-speed rail, which was very convenient. The hotel facilities are also very complete, worthy of a four-star hotel, but the service is better than a five-star hotel. It’s not that I don’t have enough time and I really don’t want to leave. All in all, it was a very satisfying trip and I will come again.

Definitely one of the most impressive homestays I’ve stayed in China - it actually looked better in real life than in photos, which is quite rare. The homestay offers 24 concierge and free pick up from huangshan north station, which was very helpful. I managed to get to know 胡师傅from there who subsequently became my driver for the next few days as I toured around huangshan. 胡师傅 is very helpful and even bought some better known烧饼as a treat for us. He was very responsive over WeChat. The interior of the homestay is super impressive! Love the modern and antiquated touch. The hotel is housed in the old street but the interior is so tastefully decorated with a modern touch with high quality appliances. The hair dryer was so powerful it could serve as an iron for my wet clothes. The amenities provided were also of high quality, the internal built - like the taps, shower etc were also good brands and of good quality. Classy. Breakfast was served down the road and the food was decent. Staffs were also very helpful and offered to take photos for us in the hotel. We also got free tickets for 齐云山 as part of our stay. Location was superb and smacked in the middle of the old town. Highly recommended!

We were not too sure what to expect from our first China trip so it was with much relief to receive such warm welcome and care when we reach our accomodation in Tunxi. Not only is our hotel a beautifully well-kept centuries-old heritage building, the service rendered by the staff was the highlight of our trip. They made special arrangements for us to have our breakfast (and it was a awesome breakfast too!) earlier as we were trying to reach Huangshan as early as possible. On our way back, we decided to stay one more night here as my friend was unwell. It felt like we were coming home, when we reached the hotel the second time. The staff even helped us to find a drugstore for us to buy some medicine to treat the stomach upset. My friend was really grateful for help rendered. The perfect combination- good place, fantastic staff It was a memorable stay

Loved this beautiful historic homestay. Clean and neat and beautifully decorated. Welcoming host who spoke great English and comforting breakfast. the second bed was a bit hard for our family that is not used to hard beds, but the other main bed was fine. the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. the location is ideal for exploring the old street

Very beautiful and historic building.the surrounding area of the forest is also something we were looking forward to and didn't dissapoint. The staff was also very nice and helpful. Some parts of the hotel look a bit run down but overall it is a great experience.

Very worth it for families! Room is spacious, clean and includes bathtub! Amenities provided is sufficient. Location is good as it is next to Tunxi Old Street. Host is very nice and helpful, providing various advice and offering us hot tea and seasonal fruits, even a farewell gift! Definitely must stay if going Huangshan and then making a pitstop!
