Wow! To start the with how we felt every minute at this beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Shu lin, who was our guest coordinator. she organized a wonderful welcome, a complimentary massage for us, as well catering to our every concern, she helped plan our hiking routes including waking up at 5am to get the best picture at bright peak. For dinner (and I highly recommend you book dinner with your booking) we ate delicious chinese food as well as fresh shrimps and sushi on top of the mountain! after dinner a beautiful traditional Chinese dance/song was prepared and we enjoyed it in the fresh mountain air. The way the staff really helped us was I told them I was flying out of Shanghai and they went and checked the weather and conditions for my trip out, it seems there was a large risk I missed my flight, Shu lin informed me and helped us arrange to get down the mountain in case rain closed the cable car. I have never experienced service like this. Really above the call of duty! I also want to thank xiao bi for organising coffee for us at the Costa cafe in the hotel. Overall I want to thank the staff for making our trip to this mountain truly magical

Comfortable base for a sunrise run-and-gun. Staff added me to a handy WeChat feed that pushed real-time sunrise/sunset tips; thanks to that, Danxia Peak (20-min walk) delivered a great dawn view. Room was modern, warm, and clean; Wi-Fi and hot shower both fine. Food is flavourful and enjoyable but very “mountain canteen” and strictly Chinese—don’t expect pastries or espresso. Prices are high, as everywhere on Huangshan, but service is friendly and the views were great! Overall: solid choice if you want easy access to the peaks with hotel-level comfort. I’d stay again.

It's said to have just reopened in September of this year after renovations. After ascending the Yungu Cableway from the back mountain, it's a short, gentle staircase to the Beihai Hotel. Next to it is the ”Dream Pen and Flower” (Dream Pen and Flower). If you want to watch the sunrise, you can head to Shixin Peak, which is also not far away. The hotel staff were very warm, polite, and friendly, especially our housekeeper, Xinyu. We added her on WeChat before check-in and provided attentive and prompt service until check-out! The hotel's decor rivals that of a resort hotel, and the rooms include a capsule coffee machine, a leg massage chair, and a library. During my three-day, two-night stay, I enjoyed both lunch and dinner at the hotel buffet. The mountain hotel's lunch and dinner prices of 98 and 180 per person were quite good, which I found quite impressive! All in all, staying at the Beihai Hotel was definitely the highlight of my Huangshan trip!

We took the Yungu Cableway from the back mountain up, then walked to the Paiyun Xing Lv Hotel, which is a new addition to the mountain. Upon checking in, we found our 'triple room' offered great value for money. The room was approximately 23 square meters and featured three 1.2-meter beds, which were very comfortable. Washing machines and dryers are conveniently located on the 4th floor. The restaurant is situated behind the front desk, and breakfast is served downstairs. After checking in, you can add the hotel butler on WeChat. He will inform guests of the next day's sunrise time. Those wishing to catch the sunrise can gather early in the morning as per his instructions to watch it from Danxia Peak. The hotel lobby features a Costa Coffee outlet. Guests can use the coffee vouchers provided in their rooms, which offer a 5 RMB discount per cup – a pretty good deal.

Easily one of the best hotels on Huangshan Mountain, with exceptionally high standards for both service and environment! Tucked away in a secluded spot opposite the Beihai Hotel, a rustic wooden door opens to reveal a true sanctuary. The staff members were all incredibly gentle and soft-spoken, always with a warm smile. During a heavy downpour, the management continuously checked in on us, helped arrange porters, provided a dehumidifier, and even brought a foot bath with hot water. From the moment we stepped in, we felt incredibly well-cared for, with impeccable attention to every detail! And a foot massager was available, which was an absolute lifesaver for my tired legs! Dinner was a set menu, featuring ingredients freshly brought up the mountain daily, and it was truly exquisite. The fresh small mandarin fish, in particular, was a revelation, completely changing my perception of Huizhou cuisine – so fresh and tender! After dinner, guest activities were offered, including incense crafting, calligraphy, and tea tasting, with brush painting available for children. The young lady leading the incense crafting was sweet and engaging, and our child absolutely adored her! Returning to our room after dinner, we found a soothing 'goodnight stew' designed for a restful sleep. The complimentary mini-bar was a bonus, and our child especially loved the milk! The coffee brewed in the morning was also wonderfully aromatic! The in-room breakfast service was also perfectly executed – a true blessing after a tiring hike, when all you want to do is stay in bed! The room was spacious and spotlessly clean; apart from the dehumidifier being a little noisy, everything else was practically perfect! The snacks in the Huizhou-style food box were delicious, and the tableware was incredibly elegant. Even the tissue box was adorned with Xiangyunsha, a traditional intangible cultural heritage fabric – the attention to detail was truly exceptional! The small courtyard was serene and incredibly comforting. Overall, I was extremely satisfied, and I'll definitely be back on my next visit to Huangshan!

As a senior citizen, I took the Yungu cable car up Huangshan Mountain in the morning, then traversed through Shixin Peak, Ring One, and Ring Two to the Xihai Grand Canyon, before taking the mini-train up the mountain. After a strenuous climb, I finally reached Bright Summit Hotel to check in. To my absolute delight, I was upgraded from a corridor-facing room to a spacious room with two-sided views! I was absolutely overjoyed, beaming with happiness! What made it even better was the clear, sunny weather. The sunset could be enjoyed directly from the hotel's large viewing platform, and for sunrise, we only needed to walk about 50 meters. This setup was absolutely perfect for us seniors! The hotel breakfast was also very generous, offering milk and yogurt, and the fried rice was particularly delicious! On the second day, upon check-out, they even gave us candy and mineral water. Such a thoughtful gesture!

The Huangshan Shilin Hotel is very convenient for visiting the mountains, and they also organise trips to good viewing spots and some days photography workshops, in spite it was included in our booking there was not workshop that day. The hotel itself is not located at a very high altitude, and the sunset spot where the staff took us was not the best, the sunrise however was amazing (tour leave the hotel at 5:15 end of August) Dinner and breakfast are served buffet-style, with a variety of options, and are good, when we see the cross the poor Sherpas bringing the food up (as well as clean sheets, building materials etc.) we can complain about options. The hotel is a bit old, and there is no air conditioning, though this is probably not an issue in most seasons. The staff speak English and are very helpful, which makes things much easier for international visitors. It’s worth noting that a huge new high-end hotel is currently being built just opposite. Once completed, it will likely bring many more visitors to the area.

This is by far the most satisfying hotel I've ever stayed at. **Facilities:** The most remarkable feature is the hotel's powerful ventilation system. While other facilities were also excellent (and expected given the price point), even in our relatively compact room, after my kids enjoyed instant noodles and a hot pot, and all four of us dried our rain-soaked shoes, there was absolutely no lingering odor. **Service:** I truly appreciated the warm, yet professional service from every single staff member. The laundry and drying service, in particular, was a lifesaver in Huangshan's unpredictable weather, making it incredibly valuable. The hotel package also included mountain entrance and cable car tickets, which, despite the slightly higher price, made the overall stay feel like excellent value considering these bundled services. When we ordered wine, the server thoughtfully brought complimentary snacks. If there was one minor imperfection, it would be that some of the power outlets in the room were a bit loose, causing plugs to sometimes wiggle.

The location is absolutely unparalleled, right within the scenic area. Step outside, and you're greeted by the famous Guest-Greeting Pine (Yingkesong). Behind the hotel, you have an expansive view of the East Sea, making it the closest spot for sunrise viewing, all without the need for strenuous hiking up and down. The hotel thoughtfully provided dinner, which was quite delicious. Their mini hotpot was a delightful surprise; I never expected to enjoy such a comforting and warm hotpot up in the mountains. The small tea room at the back, overlooking the breathtaking scenery, is also a beautiful spot to unwind, whether you're waiting for someone or simply lost in thought. But my absolute favorite was sitting by the room's window, sipping tea, reading a book, listening to music, and simply soaking in the view. It was utterly sublime.

The first time I have such a desire to evaluate, the hygiene is really bad! I won't complain about hardware decoration, but the focus is on hygiene! Even in a homestay, shouldn't bedding hygiene be the most basic? The sheets and quilts have hair! It also looks dirty, although there is no smell, but I feel itchy all day long! The air conditioner is leaking and sprays water continuously, like rain, and the toiletries are also very poor. Choose carefully
