Hotels in The Peak Of Mount Huangshan, Huangshan

The location is excellent, right on the top of the Huangshan summit close to Bright Top Peak. The service was incredible. I booked a the ”comfy standard room”, and as soon as I got there, they took me around and showed me all the different rooms and asked which one I wanted. I chose the cabin style room and they upgraded me with no upcharge. They actually told me the price for the rooms was the same, regardless of the fact that the trip.com platform listed them as different prices. Just so you know, C-area, which are multi-bed dorms, was not available on trip.com but is available on xiecheng (c-trip, the Chinese version of the app), and is only 300rmb a night versus the 1,200rmb a night I paid for this room. Had I known earlier I would have booked it. Lunch buffet was pretty good though a bit pricey at around 80-90rmb per person, though dinner was outrageous at 160rmb per person, and the food was pretty much the same as lunch. You can get cheaper food at C-area and the quality is about the same. The hotel was extremely generous bringing me snacks, offering free drinks and coffee, giving my friend iodine for his wounds (he was bitten by a monkey on the mountain - no joke, they are fierce here), and even giving me free shoe covers and plastic bags for when it rained. They fully asked for a five star review and even showed me photos of step-by-step what they wanted me to do, but I am more than happy to give a five star review for the level of service. There was even a performance with singing and costumes and dancing in the lobby in the evening, and multiple rounds of free drinks being handed out.

During our stay , we had a wonderful experience. The hotel offered excellent service, comfortable rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ensuring that we had everything we needed. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the area, and the hotel’s amenities. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and provided a relaxing space to unwind after a day of activities.

Location at the top of the mountain cannot be faulted and close to quite a few scenic spots. They also organise sunset & sunrise tours for guests (min 5 people) and if there are enough people, a photography workshop. We didn't have enough people for the workshop which was a shame. Service and attention was top notch and very friendly staff (shout out to Mr Li, 李管家 who was extremely helpful with all our questions and provided suggestions on the hiking routes). The actual building is a little dated but it looks like they're carrying out works to make improvements. As it was after peak holiday season, they also upgraded our no window room booking to one with a window. 👍

Beautiful hotel, clean, perfect position, near Danxia peak (about 15 min upstairs) to see both sunset and sunrise. Very nice breakfast with multiple options and even western options. There are also two heavy jackets in every room you can use for free due to lower temperature at night. Recommended.

The must hotel to stay as their quality of service is the most sincere and warm. From pre-stay arrangement, meeting at enroute to the hotel, we are taken care of very well. The breakfast and dinner (recommeded by young dinning butler) is excellent and exquisite. The receptionists are really friendly and suggested a lot of great hiking routes. I will not disclose too much on the room but every details in HuaYing provided the guest plenty of surprises with blend of nature and mordern design. Amenities are complete. Lastly, the heart and soul in this hotel is the wonderful people running the hotel.

Located at a very convenient location for our climb to 天都山. The coordinator Xu was really nice, helpful and informative. Introduced us to a good sunrise spot and even offered to help us move our luggage if we were checking out late(though we didn't need it in the end)! Service staff is professional and friendly but with limitations as compared to the other hotel we stayed up in the mountains. Just a little hopeful for more food options in the area so that we are not forced to eat buffet with our small stomach.

The room is a bit old, which is understandable because it is on the top of a mountain. But the service is very good. The lady is very enthusiastic and answers all your questions. You can watch the sunrise in the room and avoid the cold. If you are naked, you are already invincible.

An amazing experience at an incredible location! Shuguangli Villa is located just 10 minutes from the Houzi Guanhai scenic viewpoint and is a peaceful retreat from the, at times, massive crowds that come to visit Huangshan. The hotel property is wonderfully landscaped, and the bungalows feel secluded with their own porches and gardens. While the exterior appears rustic, each room is well equipped with amenities and is quite modern. We especially appreciated the foot massager after a long day of hiking. The staff are also superb. We were received warmly and were well-attended to throughout our stay. Our dinner and breakfast were also excellent, showcasing local Anhui dishes and ingredients. It’s additionally special considering how difficult it is to get things up the mountain peak. Honestly can’t wait to come back!

The first time I have such a desire to evaluate, the hygiene is really bad! I won't complain about hardware decoration, but the focus is on hygiene! Even in a homestay, shouldn't bedding hygiene be the most basic? The sheets and quilts have hair! It also looks dirty, although there is no smell, but I feel itchy all day long! The air conditioner is leaking and sprays water continuously, like rain, and the toiletries are also very poor. Choose carefully
