First Met Hotel

A short walk from Huangshan North Railway Station. Although it is quite some distance from the tourist spots, the young man behind the desk (who spoke a little English, used WeChat for translation and provided me with a map of Mt Huangshan) arranged for a transfer to and from the bottom of the mountain (40 yuan each way). Is a good option if you only want to spend one day up the mountain (which is all you require if going to use the cable cars and tram). The accommodation has a restaurant (and cold drinks) and there is also lots of food places over at the train station, including a KFC (bottom floor) and McDonalds (2nd floor through security, but not through check-in). Manager also drove me to the train station when I was departing. A few stairs to the room, but the manager carried the bags up for me. The room was clean and spacious, with desk, kettle, bottled water and good air conditioning and wifi. The real cups for my morning coffee were nice after most stays have provided paper ones. The bathroom is also of good size with a separate shower. Towels and bottled water were replaced daily.

I would recommend this hotel. The location is very close to the station and people at the desk help me book a taxi for the full day. The rooms are ok.

The hotel it’s good, the staff can speak a little bit English and he was really nice to me and help me to get to the train station. Definitely I would like to stay again. The hotel itself has a really nice environment.
