送孩子去學校後在酒店住了一晚，整體感覺較一般。一是號稱黃州最好的酒店之一辦入住還要交納按金，當下許多縣城或連鎖經濟酒店入住都無須交按金了，既然是高檔酒店更應與時俱進；二是熱水等待時間太長，放了一浴缸到後面才是適合洗澡的熱水温度，之前的涼水太浪費了。上面兩項有待改進。

黃岡位置極好的酒店，位於湖區半島，周邊可步行遊覽。
酒店設施比較好，不過冬天不開放泳池，因為是個室外的。應有的設施都比較齊全。健身房在負一層，面積比較大。
酒店服務方面還有提升空間，距離好酒店還有差距。
