Kensington Inn - Howell

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! me and my coworker lived here and my boyfriend drove just for 2 nights they knocked the next morning and threatened to call the police if we didn't have our stuff out within 10 minutes and told us that it was in the rules which he never showed us!!!!remind you we were technically living there he tried to up charge us 100 dollars because of it another time he threatened my roommate while i was at work and told her she needs to pack all our stuff out because our paychecks didn't arrive by 12 pm even tho they were coming the night of our room was filled with bed bugs and I constantly woke up with new bites every morning

The day manager is a rude person, the staff tries to enter my room while my granddaughter and I was still in bed. It's a dirty room with no coffee. I will never go back and I hope no one else has the bad luck to room there either. They charged me $7.00 for a towel that they say was dirty, and it was only dirty because I cleaned the nasty bathroom floor before I took a shower

LISTEN, I'm used to the best of the best (great film) – penthouse views, luxury cars, etc – and I immediately felt at home at this hotel. I was welcomed warmly by the front desk staff and had my car valet. Even though the valet was wearing gym shorts and a dirty wife beater, she (I think?) was very nice and I look forward to continuing our conversation and tipping her. After trying to get my Mercedes out of valet, I was informed by the front desk “we aint got valet, city boy” and explaining that a woman (again, possible a man) took my car, the front desk gentlemen yelled “TOUGH S**T!!!!!!”. I reported a stolen vehicle to the Fowlerville Police and chalked it up to bad luck. As I made my way to the room, I tripped several times trying to navigate the gravel parking lot. The key to my room didn’t work but no worries, a young man had a shiv and popped it open with no issue. As I opened the door, I was greeted by a strong musk with a hint of Stenson. The room itself has an 80s retro vibe to it, which I loved. After taking off my shoes and setting my Gucci Bags on the dresser, I was alarmed to hear gunshots. Knowing Livingston County has a lot of hunters, I figured it was a late season, big game hunter. The TV in the room didn’t work and after calling the front desk, I was informed “never said it work” by them. I said “fair” and hung up. Deciding to call it a night, i laid down on the bed and discovered it was a sheet covering a piece of ply board. Oh well, for the rate the room is still a steal!! CONCLUSION – I’ll be back.
