We loved our 1 night stay at Brightwater Lodge. The location could not be more perfect - close to shops, takeaways and not far from the beach, in a lovely, vibey, safe area. Lilly was beyond a delight as our host and Alex was attentive and helpful. Bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely and sunny, and beds are super comfy!

What a little hidden gem in Houtbay. Fantastic location! Alex and Lllly were always there to help. We stayed in the apartment and loved the balcony and spacious living space. I would definitely stay here again when back in Houtbay. I would highly recommend Brightwater for location and brilliant value.

What a lovely place. Cozy and tranquil. Nice quick breakaway from city life. Very nicely located. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Cleanliness could use a little work as there were a few random hairs on towels and beds and the bin had not been emptied. Nonetheless, highly recommend if you want a home away from home. Something not as high-end and [sometimes] pretentious as other places.

A very central location, near shops, restaurants and so on. Also just a few hundred meters to the beach. The atmosphere inside is cosy and you feel welcome. Breakfast well assorted. The rooms were clean.
