Absolutely sensational place to stay Maggie the owner is delightful and Cecilia is a dream, nothing is too much trouble We stayed in the Moyo suite which was pure perfection, with everything you could possibly need The whole place just oozes understated elegance and service to die for Our only regret was that we could only stay for 2 nights - we will definitely be back though

We stayed in the Loft apartment, which had a lovely terrace with Mountain views. The apartment is spacious, has a very comfortable bed and lovely shower, we had a great breakfast every morning, and Kronendal Heritage is a great location - Hout Bay is very easy to get to all the main attractions. Thank you to Maggie and your team for a wonderful stay!

The Kronendal Heritage Estate is not only perfect for a relaxing vacation but also an ideal remote working space. The suites are big enough to work and live in it. There is a battery and solar system installed that keeps the power running. So load shedding and weak internet is not a problem at all. The have a new build breakfast/communal area with indoor and outdoor seating -perfect to escape the working zone and recharge your mind and body. Service is very personal with an eye for details. Highly recommended!!!

We spent 4 days here when our accommodation at Camps Bay fell through and they arranged this for us in its stead A beautiful centuries old place, it has a huge pool and nice garden. We had the “cottage” separate to the main house. It’s private, enormous and beautiful, with lounge, a large kitchen and lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. . Very relaxing, my only minor complaint is one common to most of Africa - need a few brighter lights after dark in the bedroom just to find stuff when you need it. Bonus - the place was not subject to load shedding either! The staff were very lovely, and the beautifully presented breakfast each day was superlative. The very nice owner came down each day to ask us if we needed help to plan our day which was really helpful. I’d highly recommend this place. It’s also a short walk to the hop on hop off bus and a short drive to the beautiful Hout Bay. A definite 5 stars

"Maggie" 는 정말 친절하게 반겨줬어요. 숙소는 먼지하나 없이 깨끗하구요. 아주 조용해서 너무 행복했습니다. 조식은 정말 너무 훌륭했어요. 자연을 담은 느낌이 너무 좋았습니다. 특히 sesiliwa 가 너무 잘챙겨줘서 더욱 편했어요. 수영장에서 바라보는 뷰도 좋았고, 물이 따뜻한 것도 제 아내는 너무 좋아했어요. 비오는날 캐리어를 어깨에 지고 들어준 ingikondi 말라위 스태프 친구도 너무 감사합니다.

Berufsbedingt verbringen mein Partner und ich, die meiste Zeit unseres Lebens, in 5 Star Hotels quer über den Globus verteilt. Tatsächlich freut man sich die seltenen Tage @ Home, also in einer Umgebung zu verbringen, wo Entschleunigung möglich ist und wieder Kraft für den Arbeitsalltag gesammelt werden kann. Vor allem nach der langen Zeit der Pandemie hatten wir umso mehr das Bedürfnis wieder flexibel und einfach Reisen zu können. Das wichtigste für uns angenehmes Klima, Sonne, leckeres Essen und Getränke, bekannte Gesichter und keine Zeitverschiebung. Mit anderen Worten: Away from Home sich trotzdem Zuhause zu fühlen. Im Kronendal Heritage in Houtbay hat man sich an uns als Returncustomer erinnert. Dank großer Flexibilität, des Teams und Maggie war es möglich “unser” gewohntes Zimmer beziehen. Trotz der Krise waren wir sehr erfreut, uns bekannte Gesichter wiederzusehen. Von der guten Seele im Haus Cecilia bis zu den Gärtnern waren alle noch da. Die doch ungewisse Zeit wurde von den Besitzern genutzt um ein gemütliches Lappa zu bauen in dem das Frühstück angeboten wird. Aktuell war immer wieder mal Loadshedding was aber auf unseren Aufenthalt keinen Impact hatte. Hier empfiehlt es sich einfach die offizielle App zu laden. Wiedermal verging die Zeit leider viel zu schnell. Jedoch haben wir bereits nochmal für dieses Jahr gebucht da ein privates Fest geplant ist und wir uns keine bessere Location dafür vorstellen können.

Und dass ist besonders Maggie, der Gastgeberin zu verdanken. Sie sorgt dafür, dass man sich hier pudelwohl fühlt und es an nichts fehlt. Ich war bereits mehrmals da- jedes Cottage ist anders und ganz besonders liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ich komme bestimmt wieder!
