Very good hotel, nicest reception ever, higly recommend for business trip.

We had the pleasure of staying at The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa this week, and from start to finish, our experience was exceptional. Every team member we encountered—from check-in to bell service, housekeeping, front desk, and management—was outstanding: professional, helpful, and genuinely courteous. Our room was immaculate and thoughtfully designed. The lighting was just right, the bathroom amenities were top-notch, and the comfort of the bed was truly exceptional—nothing could be improved upon in our opinion. Parking was simple and reasonably priced, and the valet attendant greeting us with a cold bottle of water was such a thoughtful touch, especially appreciated in the Texas heat. The dining experience was another highlight. The restaurant was outstanding, and room service was both prompt and delicious. We especially enjoyed the pool area, shaded by beautiful trees and made even better by the attentive poolside service, with food and drinks delivered right to our chairs in a timely manner. We love this hotel and return every chance we get. It’s a peaceful, luxurious retreat, and we always leave feeling refreshed and well cared for. We’ll continue to recommend The Houstonian to friends and family as a perfect place to relax in comfort and style. ⸻

From exceptional service during our conference activities, to staff at the athletic club and shop going above and beyond to accommodate requests and make recommendations, to the polite and swift responses by the concierge, and to the impeccable service at the various restaurants on campus - I was impressed by each and every individual member of the teams we interacted with throughout the week. The room was immaculate, with lovely comfortable pillows and bedding, allowing me to sleep just as i do at home. In spite of extreme heat and humidity, the HVAC system kept up with my preferred climate settings. The housekeeping staff was lovely to accomodate my schedule requests. Thank you for your hospitality - you represent Houston and the state of Texas well!

I recently stayed at The Houstonian for a business trip and brought my husband along for something special. July marks five years since we made the decision to try again and rebuild our family—and this trip gave us the perfect moment to quietly honor that milestone. Before we even arrived, I received a personal text message—which I assumed was automated. But it wasn’t. It was a real team member checking in to make sure we were ready for our stay. That small, thoughtful touch set the tone for everything that followed. I selected a complimentary romantic upgrade ahead of time. When we got to our room and realized the flowers hadn’t been delivered, I simply texted the team. Their response was outstanding—they upgraded us to a beautiful one-bedroom suite and delivered the floral arrangement as promised. It was a perfect, graceful recovery that made the moment even more meaningful. The standout of our stay was Natalie. When she realized we had a faulty key, she didn’t wait or call—she sprinted up four flights of stairs to catch us as we stepped off the elevator. That kind of urgency and care is almost unheard of. She truly embodies what exceptional service looks like. Shawika from in-room dining was also phenomenal. She was kind, patient, and professional—every interaction felt personal and elevated, and she made our meals feel like an extension of the luxury around us. Throughout our four-day stay, we never once opened a door ourselves. Every team member—from the doormen and concierge to room service and security—was warm, polished, and sincere. Nothing felt forced. The culture of service here is real and consistent. As someone who oversees high-rise condo communities, I know firsthand how hard it is to create a service culture that’s both high-performing and deeply human. What you’ve built at The Houstonian is rare, and it deserves to be celebrated. We’ll absolutely be back.

I recently purchased a package for my son and his wife as a birthday gift and a “staycation” get-away for them due to their busy lives with two beautiful daughters. The Houstonian was unbelievable! A week prior to my booked stay, the concierge called me and asked what they could do to make the stay wonderful. We discussed options for a special treat and the staff at the Houstonian made sure everything we asked for happened. They had a beautiful room, champagne and a slice of bday cake waiting upon arrival. They enjoyed a very relaxing couples massage and then dinner at the Tribute, where the food and service was amazing. Every part of their stay was perfect and the Houstonian deserves a 5 star rating! I highly recommend.
