Days Inn by Wyndham Houston East

Never again Before we could get to the room we were made to move our vehicle after we had already unloaded to the back of the property. They are currently undergoing a painting so there’s plastic on the windows. There was this large blackish chair that was peeling and gross while taking up way too much room. There’s some mate in the tub (didn't seem hygienic). We didn’t check in until almost 11:30p the front desk called our room waking us up (including our two year old) at 5am telling us we needed to move our car so they could start painting again. We had to advise that we didn’t have a car and it’s all the way in the back with all the other vehicles. At this point we start packing to leave when a roach crawls on the mirror. This was one of worst experiences please don’t do it to yourself.

Wouldn’t stay again Ambience was not what I expected from a Days Inn. Walking up to the room someone was standing outside smoking a blunt right by the staircase. As for just needing a night overstay, it’ll get you through the night. It’s not a place that I would return to. Room looked clean until I saw a food container in the trash can still so it made me question the rest of the room.

Lying employees do not stay here The person we spoke on the phone when we called to ask about bug rug parking lied to us and said there was enough space upon arrival we realized there was not. And we had booked on their word, the reservation was non refundable

Value for the money Located about 15 minutes from the convention center. For the money, it’s a decent place. Room was very clean and well maintained. Location is in an iffy part of town, but they have a iron fence securing the area.
