The room had a severe musty odor which I just tolerated because it was late and I was exhausted. My real problem was the shower the next morning. I noticed a shower mat hanging with the towels, but didn’t think too much of it. I then proceeded to step into the shower. When my second foot hit the shower floor, I immediately slipped and fell out of the shower, hitting my head on a wall corner. The shower floor was slick like it had been oiled. I lay stunned on the floor for a couple of minutes, then got up, put the floor mat in, and showered. As I checked out I mentioned to the desk clerk that I had fallen out of the shower as I stepped into it, in case they keep track of such incidents. I was given a cheerful “thanks”. That’s it. No”I hope you are ok” or “I’m sorry”. Guys, I’m in my 60’s. The lack of concern was palpable. 9 days later I’m still dealing with bruises on my head, cheek, shoulder, and elbow. I would never mention this except for the treatment I received after the fact.

We were in Houston for a conference with our children. We booked this hotel because of the indoor pool and the location. I was impressed with Marcus at check in and the fact that he was knowledgeable and professional. THe breakfast ladies were amazing at helping us out with food that had run out and even bringing us extra napkins, did I mention we had our kids. Charnetta was wonderful the next morning and did amazing working around a broken front door. John was working when we checked out and was wonderful helping us sort out the payment information and who and what. We will definitely be staying there next year for Conference!! Thanks to the ENTIRE staff that worked that weekend for an amazing stay.

We stayed at this hotel during our spring break trip. I had one adult and three kids and we had plenty of space. The breakfast was the usual some hot items eggs, sausage, on one day and eggs and bacon another along with some cereal items, bagels, some mini muffins , yogurt along with oatmeal and several toppings and fruit which the kids loved. The staff was very friendly and there was plenty of parking and lots of shops and restaurants nearby.
