The best thing about Taocheng Tea is that the whole restaurant smells delicious! Super comfortable!

When you enter the lobby, you will see a high-ceiling design and the pleasant scent of cypress wood greets you!
After checking in at the counter, I took my luggage upstairs by myself. There is no luggage delivery service. The elevator is questionable because there is no sign indicating the current floor. Other than that, I think it is OK.

Parking lot: It’s on a first-come, first-served basis. You need to get a token from the counter when you exit the parking lot, so we simply didn’t drive and took Uber directly to the Cultural Night Market.

Food: Afternoon tea and breakfast are provided at your own expense, but we didn't order any, I just ordered under eat😆

Room: The dry and wet areas in the room are separated, and the bathroom and toilet are separated very well. It is the first time I have seen such a layout. The toilet also has a bidet, and the bathroom is not small. The hotel provides the Chazitang bath series, which is very comfortable to use.

The room also provides tea and snacks for guests to eat. There is also tea soup next to the bathtub. It is really a great enjoyment to take a bath in the room.

Another highlight is: the rooftop infinity pool and bar!
The swimming pool is not big, but it is very suitable for taking dips and taking photos.
Open only until 18:00; after 18:00 the bar takes over.

The bar was my favorite part, ordered a drink that was too strong
The bar staff helped me add ice cubes to dilute the drink countless times and were very chatty. I sat at the bar by myself for 3 hours. 😆The atmosphere is really good

I was invited to give a speech at the Hualien Agricultural University and was recommended to stay at the Cheng Yi. Coincidentally, my husband also stays at the Cheng Yi when he visits Hualien, so of course I booked a room.
The location is great, just a short walk from the train station.
The price is very reasonable, but the room is a bit cramped (I stayed in a twin room). Breakfast is served at scheduled times, lasting an hour, which was a bit tight. The food was average, but filling enough.
The lobby has a very artistic feel, which I like. There's a children's climbing wall, perfect for taking children for a walk, but adults should always be present, as it can be a bit dangerous.
Overall, I'd give it a rating of 4.5 or above.
Suggestion: Relax in the lobby, gaze at the mountains from your room, and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.

Excellent and very clean. The receptionist explained everything thoroughly and clearly. It's extremely close to Formosa Boulevard MRT station; you just need to cross the street at the traffic light to reach it. The hotel is located on a main road, making it very easy to find. I booked online, and upon arrival, I was able to check in immediately. I received my room key, room slippers, and was shown where to store my shoes.
