Province of Catania Hotels with Hot Tub

What I liked: - The hotel boasts two lovely pools. - The on-site restaurant serves some of the best food I've had in the area, though it is pricey. - Breakfast is simple yet delicious, featuring eggs, frankfurts, bacon, cheese, pastries, fruit, juices, and wonderful coffee. - You are allowed to enjoy drinks by the pool. - 90% of the staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. - Free parking is available on site. What I disliked: - The room's air conditioning was not adjustable and only blew in one direction, making both the bathroom and bedroom uncomfortably warm. - I had to sleep on the pullout sofa as the bedroom was too hot. Thankfully, the sofa was available; otherwise, I don't know what I would have done. - The spa seemed expensive for a hot tub and sauna, so I didn't use it and can't comment on its quality. - There is an incredible rooftop with views of the bay and Mt. Etna that goes unused, which feels like a wasted space. - The location is very remote, situated in a residential area with nothing within walking distance except for two restaurants and a golf club affiliated with the hotel. - While you can walk to the bay, there are no pathways and the return trip is steep and uphill. - The hotel provides taxis, but they are quite costly. - There is an extra charge to use the kitchenette, which was not communicated beforehand. Additionally, no tea or coffee replacements were provided, which is unusual for a hotel of this caliber. **Tips:** - If you are checking in past 10:30 PM, be sure to call the hotel to ensure someone will be available to check you in. - Renting a car is essential for getting around, as without one, your travel options will be limited and expensive. - This hotel is perfect if you want to relax by the pool and do occasional excursions. However, if you're looking for more activities, you may find the location too remote.

In the middle of a highway.. The staff is very friendly..the rooms very clean!! The location stole one star 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

When you hear the name Best Western, it definitely doesn’t peak your senses for authentic Sicilian resort with an amazing restaurant option. However, this hotel was an incredibly pleasant surprise. We stayed here as a stopover for the drive from Catania to Taormina as we arrived fairly late and where just looking for a place to get some rest and a bite to eat. The hotel room was small but extremely comfortable with very helpful staff. However, what truly took the cake was the super restaurant, full of locals. I would definitely make a point to stay here again and eat here several times! The seafood was incredible, especially the cold seafood starter, the pasta was succulent and the pizza extraordinary. It is a short walk to the nearby town which is beautiful in itself, and if you happen to like motorcycles, there is a Ducati and a Harley Davidson dealer a few minutes’ walk away!

Love the very convenient location right in the middle of Via Etnea, walking distances to most of the major attractions. Front Office is warm and very helpful in providing us with information and map upon checking in. Room was great and very comfortable. We were an hour early for check-in, and the room we booked wasn't available then. Instead, we got a surprise to be able to check-in into a bigger room. Breakfast is fabulous with lots of choices. Highly recommended. The property is right opposite the Rinascente departmental store. Before careful if you are claiming VAT refund. My tax refund of over 200 euros was disallowed as the tax refund form prepared by them deliberately omitted the last digit of my passport number.

Welcoming and kind. Comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent idea for unattended parking, free with access barrier. Not very close to the center, but close to the seafront and the many clubs.

The hotel is well located 20 mins walk from the old town square but next to everything. It is in renovation partially so the gym wasn't open and the lobby is diminished. The breakfast although rich and tasty was not replenished and advertised until 12h on sundays but half empty by 10h so it was such a bummer knowing that we paid extra for that. So all in all feels like a 4 stars but still in progress and for the high price we paid we would have expected more.

I really loved this hotel. I found Catania to be gritty and dirty, though it had some good food and the area around the Duomo was somewhat magical at night, but the hotel was a comfortable and quite refuge. The room size was comfortably ample (not huge), though with a small closet. I really enjoyed the design, with its stone walls and modern bathroom. The service was very good. Having said all that, the breakfast was probably to best part of our stay; it had most of the Sicilian specialties I had on my list, aranccini, cannoli, stuffed zucchini flowers, cassata. They usually serve granita for breakfast too, but they had just stopped the week before for the season. I am very happy I chose to stay here.

The breakfast was very good and the restaurant had a nice view by the pool. But there is no airport shuttle bus.... can help to call the car to the airport 25 euros do not hit the table. The room facilities are also very old, although there is a balcony, but the balcony is facing the computer room....... The waiter attitude is OK.

location nice in front of the sea, but we didn't go to the beach as there is no access... you have to walk 15 min. breakfast acceptable, buffet not super full. pool closed at 6.00 pm ((in August)). about the room: old fashion, but ok. the first night we didn't sleep at all... AC too loud very loud, like you have a truck in the room all night. we asked to change the room, as we thought there was a problem in there. receptionist found another one, but same result. counted no. of plugs... we couldn't charge our phones at once. check out at 11 am as usual, but al 9.00 someone knocked to check the mini bar.
