I stayed at the Holiday Inn between Christmas and New Year. My friends stayed in the Club Med down the road. Although I joined them for dinner at Club Med, I was genuinely very happy with my stay at Holiday Inn. The room was spacious with a good layout. It had central heating and underfloor heating (lovely after a day of skiing). The room was clean, and I appreciate that the staff offered to change the linen and towels daily, but only on request as they were conscious of the environment. The staff were friendly, but it was difficult with the language barrier as they spoke very limited English and I needed to translate everything. I was very happy with the breakfast at the hotel, as it had a range of good quality western and Asian dishes. I could easily fill up on this food and not eat again until dinner. If I had have been hungry, I could have visited the little snack shop in the lobby. Though the hotel is a short 5min walk away from the main ski service hall, there is a ski-in ski-out option from the hotel if you already have equipment. Alternatively, you can ride the free shuttle bus from the hotel to the service hall. The shuttle bus runs every 5-10mins until 10pm, which is very useful as you can also use it to go to dinner and back. Included in the hotel booking, was free entrance to the Japanese hot springs. This is close to the ski hall, so you can take the shuttle. It is wonderful and highly recommended for all ages, especially as it is technically part of the hotel’s stay!

The room I booked this time was so suitable. It was on two floors with my eldest son and my second son. There was no interference. The eldest son rarely said it was very nice. There was also his own ”Snow Garden in the Sky” upstairs😀, where I could play in the snow and see fireworks at night. 🎆, the service is also good. I was in a hurry when I left. Manager Liu helped arrange the luggage racks and gave the children drinks. This year is over. See you next year! A few suggestions: Can you find a way to put several shelves like containers in the room, or set up a few rows of hooks, for example, under the stairs, where you can put helmets, face protection, gloves, snow goggles, snow socks, etc. every day? After skiing, they are piled up everywhere. They are not neat and tidy, and they are not easy to dry. They are difficult to find and are easy to lose when skiing.
