No hot water the whole time on resort…bath room was not the cleanest as you would expect for 500 night ..sink didn’t drain properly, sea food first night made us ill..food in general was not to standard for the price

The hotel has a beautiful environment, a unique hot spring, and the oldest golf course in the United States. Due to its long history, some facilities are a bit old, but they are clean and tidy. The staff are also very friendly

BEWARE OF HIDDEN FEES! I booked online for one night for 449.00 plus tax. When I received the printed bill at check out there were fees for HISTORIC PRESERVATION, PARKING, and FACILITY FEE! The Homestead is dated and starting to show its age. The air conditioner sounded like jet on takeoff even with ear plugs in!! The room would not get the room below 70 F. It was 90 F outside. The shower handle came of when I turned the shower on. The food was okay, the staff was non existent.

Our family trip was beyond amazing. The staff was incredible, the location is gorgeous, and the resort itself is something out of a storybook. My wife and I travelled with our two sons (6 and 2), one of whom is on the autism spectrum. I reached out ahead of time to the loyalty manager, Karen Fuller, to see if any accommodations were available, and she went above and beyond to ensure our family had an incredible trip with everything we asked for and more to make my son on the spectrum happy, comfortable and safe. Bob Darnell in the Woody's/Pioneer Picnic area was also incredible. Very attentive, and could almost read your mind with what you needed and provided it before you even asked. We will be coming back again! This was an incredible trip!

Its a very unique experience to stay at the homestead. It never feels too crowded. The guided tour of the cascades gorge was awesome. Brain La Fountain is a national treasure.

We spent a long weekend at the Homestead for the 4th of July this year, and were not disappointed. The hotel is always beautiful and in great condition. We utilized the pool every day with our 3 young boys and had a great time in the lazy river and using the slides. If you can get a cabana, it is worth the price. Jack and Peter were excellent with taking care of us out by the pool. The Cascades golf course was in perfect condition, and such a fun experience. We ate dinner at Jefferson's twice, and the steak was excellent both times. The presidential bar has the best old fashioned during happy hour, and we took full advantage every afternoon. Overall, we love visiting this hotel and property for it's uniqueness and pristine conditions.

Very nice experience. Service was excellent at restaurants. Allegheny Springs was great fun, plenty of lounge chairs on the weekdays. Only negative was the extremely high price for salads for the portion size of salads at the pool. We had a patio which we highly recommend as it gives a private place to enjoy being outside.
