Hot Springs Hotels in Yakushima

1) Paddler services are not widely used in Japan, and I thought that there are few such wonderful paddler services. (I think there are personal tastes ...) 3) Regarding drinks, there were many local products such as original drinks, and I enjoyed it very much. On the other hand, regarding the serve of wine etc., although it is a luxury hotel restaurant and from 2000 yen / glass, there is no tasting, detailed explanation, follow-up, etc., so I was reluctant. 4) The atmosphere of the room, facilities and amenities (local brands and environmentally friendly products) are also excellent. In addition, two types of soaps were installed, and I was able to choose the scent that suits my mood. However, although the shaver is a high-class item, it is very heavy and not easy to use, so I think it would be more convenient if it was a little lighter and cheaper to use. thank you for helping me!

Splendid sea view from a beautiful, large, bedroom. 2 beds instead of one big. This could have been better to me. Service is excellent. People are nice, always trying to help, being resourceful on how you may handle your visit of the island. Top notch people. The real ”could be better” thing to me is, the restaurant that close really early (8.30pm if my memory is good), does server only buffet for 80kY. The buffet is of quality mixing Japanese, Chinese and Western styles of food. And also comes with nice desserts. However, having the choice to get only one A la carte dish could be a real plus. I personally do not want to get a full buffet for every and each of my diners. And if you do not have a car, finding another place to eat may become a challenge. There is nothing around at a walking distance except a supermarket. The breakfast is definitely qualitative. And if you intend to move early for visiting, the hotel can prepare you a breakfast and a lunch box for no overcharge. Basic but good and appreciated. To have another plus, they serves a local craft beer made with local cedar trees. Quite a good and interesting one.

It is recommended to pack a tour guide and rent a taxi here.

Most of the meals were very delicious except for some of the salty ones for my taste. Especially some local ingredients and seasonings will be used, which will make people feel more connected to this place. In terms of cost, the price is high for people who are used to living in backpackers. At the same time, after living in, I feel that the overall environment and service are very worth the price. For travelers who want to relax and relax in a quiet, slow journey, I highly recommend this hotel if financially generous permits!

I booked a western-style twin room with an old decoration, but it basically meets my needs. The hotel is close to the port and provides free round-trip transfers from the airport. You can also rent mountaineering equipment at the hotel. The staff is very polite and enthusiastic. Overall, this hotel is a very good choice for tourists who want to save trouble.

This Minshuku is well located on the main road between airport and Miyanoura. If you don’t plan to drive, you can take the bus from the airport and will arrive in about 15 min at the Kokumae bus stop ( bus stop in front of the high school) . The bus stop is just in front of the Minshuku. Bus ride costs ¥200. The overall condition of the Minshuku is good. The double room that we had was about 100 sqft, with a wash basin inside the room which is good. The futon were comfortable and blankets were warm. Toilet and shower are shared but they were very clean. Dining area is nice and comfortable. Dinner is excellent with local food. There is free coffee and tea in the reception. The Minshuku offer rental for hiking shoes if you don’t have any. Overall I would recommend this place for the great location and price.
