Anstatthotel Horw - App Self-Check-IN

Very good all round - clean- comfortable - we had a car so getting around from hotel was easy - however as is usual all around Luzern where you park - you pay. Only downside was that the extractor hood was noisy in the room when cooking. A bit pricy but overall a great experience.

Extremely well suited for travellers especially from Asia as the rooms and facilities are well planned. We stayed for 3 nights but did not need to call or look for a staff member. Everything was automated. Best location with the Bus stop just downstairs. Only Issue is with the Bar downstairs ( not belonging to the hotel) and the play area in front, it can be Noisy and disturbing even late at night. Otherwise a Superb Stay and already recommended to a few others

I booked this hotel online after lot of research & search as hotels in Switzerland are so expensive especially during holiday season. So, we finally booked this apartment hotel with keeping our fingers crossed. Pros 1. Close to Luzern train station. It is about 15min bus ride from the station 2. Bus stops is bang opposite of hotel so very easy to travel to & fro from station. The bus frequency is about 15min. 3. It has small kitchenette, which is enough cook for small meals & B/F etc 4. The checkin and entry into hotel is troublesome and it took a while to make it work properly but once you get used to it then it's a breeze. Infact, we helped lot of travelers later to enter into hotel & given them demo. 5. The bed, bed linen and towels were clean 6. It had a nice balcony where you can sit outside and enjoy the view of a beautiful mountain. 7. Superfast internet with excellent coverage across hotel. Cons 1. Since, it was booking for 3 ( 2 adult & 1 child), they had set up 3 beds which occupied lot of space in the room. I think they should have provision for kid's bed when they know the age of the guest. 2. The main door to bathroom had to locking arrangement, which is a problem when you have small kid travelling with you. Also, the door does not completely get shut and some gap remains which does not provide complete privacy to the user. If hotel could take care of these couple of issues then it is best option for the budget travelers.
