Royal Island Resort

Unforgettable experience! Beautiful island, fortunately not rebuilt for tourists but with the respect of their Maldivian  culture.  Incredible nature and all the people that work there are all very kind and welcoming. we were truly happy.Tthe only small flaw is that the activities and extras  are really expensive and in a hotel like this it is not proportionate. We could have done many excursions and booked every day massages etc but with such high prices we limited ourselves to two. the risk is to lose opportunities. so this is my only advice. Thanks anyway for this beautiful holiday! See you soon

The location is good and beautiful, but the access from Male Airport is pretty bad and hotel kept us wait at the airport for quite long. They only have 2 flight in one day and they never tell us the exact time previously. The facility is not bad though.

The hotel was advertised as 5 star but could clearly be 6 star. Everything was amazing , the island, the staff, food, trips and the beach and sea just beat the amazing pool area. Rooms serviced twice a day by staff that can’t do enough. Sea plane transfers and speed boat. What an holiday what an experience

We’re leaving Royal Island Resort today after a wonderful holiday. The resort is beautiful—clean, tidy, and incredibly well looked after. The staff have been consistently friendly and helpful, and we’d especially like to thank Nazia, our host, who went out of her way to ensure our stay was smooth and enjoyable. The surroundings are stunning, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing break. Our only recommendation would be to upgrade the treadmills in the gym, as both were not functioning properly during our stay. Given the resort’s 5-star rating, we had expected the fitness facilities to meet a higher standard. That aside, we’ve had a fantastic experience overall and would happily return. Thank you to everyone at Royal Island for making our stay so memorable
