Horton Inn

We spent 2 nights here to attend family reunion locally. We received a warm and friendly welcome and lots of offers of help. Both rooms were spacious, bright and spotlessly clean. Tea & coffee making facilities are provided generously. Beds are very comfortable. There are spare blankets but also a fan and an iron and board . There are black out blinds and curtains. The room has been planned thoughtfully. The Inn is on the road but the road noise didn’t disturb us. Earplugs are provided if needed. Breakfast was delicious and was beautifully cooked. It exceeded our expectations for a reasonably priced room in a local pub. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely return. We’ve recommended the Horton Inn to our local contacts.

The pub looked great and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and efficient. But most of all the food was delicious! Reasonably priced as well. (Only comment would be to invest in doing up the toilets, but they were still clean)

Stayed at the Horton Inn whilst visiting friends nearby. We had a good-sized twin room with ensuite shower which was nicely decorated and comfortable and provided some things that some hotels don't like bottled water and earplugs. Nice one! Ate dinner in the restaurant which was good and had a lovely breakfast so no complaints!

Stayed here as playing Golf at Remedy Oak the following day. Rooms, Food and staff were all excellent. Location to Remedy Oak was ideal so if you coming down to play golf this is the ideal venue to stay........................................

Very friendly staff and wonderful food - the portions were enormous! We stayed in one of the more expensive rooms, but it was well worth the money with extras not usually found in more expensive hotels. We would certainly recommend this inn to anyone needing a room near Ringwood.

The complementary breakfast was good. Room was cheap and good quality. Only having 1 physical key was not ideal. Staff were all nice and very helpful. Location was very convenient as we had a wedding nearby, this seemed like a common reason for people staying.

Perfect room, awesome staff. Smashed a few beers by the fire place and then watched chalet girl in bed. Cracking breakfast, had a full English. Great friendly service and threw over a second coffee to finish off the morning. Will be back again

We had a lovely dinner at the Horton Inn. We regularly pop in for a drink as we live just down the road on Horton but we decided to bring some neighbor's for dinner yesterday and it was delicious, the girls are always super friendly and welcoming too!

Family of 4, staff was nice on arival but seemed really stressed, Ordered food this was at 2 15, drinks turned up, after 45 mins asked if food was ordered, said yes on its way, took another 15 mins, all in all rather a long time to wait I thought, poor staff kept apologising, see why they were stressed. Starters were very nice, main course turned up had roast beef, it was how can I say just ok, beef was nice, cauliflower cheese was tasteless, one small bowl of veg for 3 mains, not enough, food was only just warm enough, my sons burger was just nasty, no taste, bun was from last week, looked frozen and heated up, the others had porkbelly, just fat no meat at all, just not nice at all. Suggestion Get a new chef, make sure food is hot, taste sauces b4 it's sent out!!! Get orders out within 15 mins. Lot better places around tbh. Won't be going back until they change chef useless.
