We had the absolute pleasure of enjoying the bottomless brunch, just wow the cocktails were superb, and literally limitless as described, the food was great quality and delicious, the staff were attentive and polite and never let us run dry. It was very much worth the £40 we will certainly be back!!! Well done Horsley lodge team!!!

Beautiful grounds and interior to the property. Parking was free and on site. Just had to provide your registration when checking in. WiFi was free and was great. The WiFi password was displayed throughout the property so easy to find. Bedroom was beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable. Basics were provided already in the room, such as some coat hangers, a fan, extra pillow, heater etc. Bathroom was very clean and had a few complimentary mini products (shower gel, shampoo and body lotion). Breakfast was delicious and served piping hot. There was quite a good choice on the menu to choose from too. We had a free breakfast with our booking but the prices on the menu seemed reasonable if you don’t have this included. Reception kept the main doors open / supervised at night incase you went off site and needed to be let back in upon returning to the property. The only thing that wasn’t quite as good as expected was the staff presence throughout the property / grounds. There were not many staff members about to ask questions to or just see. The staff we did see and/or speak to were lovely though and were helpful!! Overall, would definitely recommend staying here.

We, a group of 12 people aged 2 to 92 went for Sunday lunch. We were in the beautiful new conservatory, which we loved. As we arrived we were asked if we wanted drinks which arrived very promptly. Food had been pre ordered. A mixture of sunday lunch to pizza. It came and was delicious. Staff were very attentive. I can throughly recommend. it is a beautiful breathtaking setting, plenty of parking. We shall be returning soon.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the exceptional team at Horsley Lodge for making my daughter's 7th birthday party such a success. From the initial planning stages, the staff's dedication was evident as they meticulously helped us sort out every detail, including catering, specific allergy requirements, and perfect timings. On the day of the party, everything ran flawlessly and with the utmost professionalism. The food, a delicious pizza and chips buffet featuring fantastic homemade wood-fired pizzas, was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The team's accommodating spirit, where truly nothing was too much trouble, ensured my daughter had an absolutely amazing and special birthday. I am incredibly grateful for such a memorable event, which truly showcased the remarkable diversity and high standards Horsley Lodge offers. Thank you again 💕

The grounds and the dining/bar area are absolutely stunning — a real highlight of the stay. The setting is picturesque, and the food was excellent throughout our visit. However, the overall experience was let down by a few key issues. Service was inconsistent, with missing dishes and delays in receiving drinks — some never arrived at all, which was disappointing. The hallways looked tired and dated, and unfortunately, the condition of our room was very poor. While the lack of soundproofing was noticeable, the main concern was cleanliness. The teaspoon was dirty, the bath had cobwebs, spiders, and hairs, and the bathroom tiles had visible grime. The walls were scuffed, paint was peeling, and the chandelier was covered in cobwebs — it was far beyond cosmetic wear and tear. The cheap poly pocket folders in the information folder also made it feel cheap. It’s a shame, because the setting and food suggest a high standard, but the room condition did not reflect that at all. With more attention to cleanliness and maintenance — and improved service — this could be a fantastic place to stay.

We have just got back from a to night, two rounds of golf break. It really could not have been much better! The golf course, hotel and food was superb. The customer service from everyone we dealt with was faultless. In particular we would like to thank Josh in the pro-shop, Vicky on the reception desk and Neave (sorry if this spelt wrong!) in the restaurant. We will be back!!

Shocking place to play golf in terms of the way your treated. Firstly booked a buggy over the phone day before, got advised it’s £22 quid, sound mate, gets there to be told it’s £36 quid and no one would of said £22 m. Straight away called liars. Welcome to to the club. Secondly the driving range is trash, the matts are wore out and it’s sounded like you’re hitting it off pavement . Thirdly not being able to play through a fore ball who spent most of there time in the trees like George of the jungle when we was a 2 ball in a buggy and knocking it on some on the green in one. Guessing because we wasn’t members they feel we don’t know course rules or this thing called avoid slow play. The guy in the pro shop was disrespectful and basically called me a liar. In terms of the course it was lovely apart from the tees are up and down and not very flat. Wouldn’t go back due to service and poor lack of rules and knowledge of fellow players
