Horsham North

Hotel is very dated, scruffy in places. Breakfast wasn’t good, signs saying items not available due to reasons beyond their control. Well whose control is it…premier inn that’s who. I won’t return to this hotel even though I have to go to Horsham in the near future.

Very disappointing. The hotel stairs were so grubby they didn't look as if they'd been vacuumed for days. The room itself was OK but one main light wasn't working and the room was very cold. I wasn't able to get the heating to work. Not the same standard as else Premier Inn's elsewhere.

The place was dirty, unloved and understaffed. Value for money and staff trying their best but not enough of them. Toilets in the restaurant were a disgrace. Food was ok despite lots not being available and I felt sorry for the people working there.

This premier inn has a perfect location directly across the road from the train station, 5-10 minute walk into town. The building is old, tired, the room i had was creaky, the card slot for the power was constantly clicking throughout the night, ended up taking the card out so i could slee, This would switch the lights on and off. Was a struggle to find staff at the reception.

Positives: near the station, easy access to town, free car park The building is old and very very scruffy and dirty. The two ladies on reception in the afternoons were very friendly and efficient, didn't see any other members of staff at all, reception was always unmanned in the mornings when we went out and didn't see any cleaners. Whilst the building is an absolute disgrace, there really is no need for the place to be so dirty. We arrived on Monday, the stairs and hallways were very dirty, we left on Friday the public areas had still not been cleaned. The bin outside reception was full when we arrived - emptied on Thursday. Our room was spacious but set up for single occupancy despite my booking being for 2 adults, no toilet paper in the loo. Had to go reception to request more towels and toilet paper. Rooms not serviced during stay unless requested. There was a desk with a high back dining room type chair(not at all comfortable) plus a single armchair, there was enough room for another chair, therefore one of us had to sit on the bed to relax. Can't comment on the 'restaurant' as frankly it looked so scruffy and grubby we really didn't feel like venturing in. I gather this place is well utilised, assume as it is so convenient to station and town.
