MainStay Suites Horsham - Philadelphia

Date of Stay: 07/04/2025 We had high hopes for our visit, especially after a fantastic check-in experience—the front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and very welcoming. Unfortunately, our stay took a disturbing turn (my furry kid found out that there was a mouse trapped under the couch coz she smells cheese snackies). Wait what? A mouse trapped inside a hotel room? Kiddos are feeling scared, but hopefully the little mouse better not come out to scare us. During the night, while my family and I were asleep, we heard some noise that seemed like someone was playing a plastic bag!!! We discovered that a mouse had gotten into our garbage, which had been left on the table. This was both unsettling and unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Cleanliness and pest control are basic expectations, and this incident left us extremely disappointed and concerned about the overall hygiene standards. I hope management takes this seriously and improves their maintenance and cleanliness procedures. It’s a shame, because the staff were wonderful and working hard to give guests a good experience.

I was alone I needed to feel safe and I did in this hotel. Front desk gal very pleasant and helpful. I asked for a quiet room. She put me in 410. I thought great but…it’s on the noisy street side. Ugh! I’m a light sleeper so I got about 5 hours each night. The roof top fan is connected to my exhaust fan. Runs loud and constantly. Had to keep the bathroom door closed. The bathroom was updated and pretty. Wish it had a wall magnifying mirror. I’m in my 60’s so trying to put on makeup with the regular mirror wasn’t easy. The room was clean & comfortable, nice bed with a sofa to relax on. TV channels not the best if TV matters to you. The kitchen has stainless appliances and fully stocked with anything you’d need. A hot free breakfast each morning. Not a lot of choices but what they provided was sufficient. Because they allow pets each morning the dogs would be barking in the hallway. So it wasn’t the quietest place I’ve ever stayed but I was comfortable and felt safe. But I’d stay here again.

It was nice. Just your basic room beds were comfortable. Had a little problem with a/c was very cold than we adjusted and it was to hot kinda figured it out.

Great stay Stayed one night due to a storm that knocked our power out. This hotel was convenient, reasonably priced and well equiped. I would recommend and stay here in the future.

Very friendly, nice facility. Good room, with full kitchen, comfortable bed, clean towels... Hotel allows dogs - thank you very much for this option. Staff polite and friendly. Very good experience! Definitely recommend

Run, do not walk, away from this establishment. We received a call before we checked in notifying us that they were upgrading our room, if that room was an upgrade I would be frightened to think what our room was going to be like. We also booked for the Mainstay side because it had better reviews but when we left we realized they had put us in the Comfort Inn side, I would have never booked there. The hallways and rooms smelled atrocious, hairy bug leg found in the bed and during the night my husband had a cockroach on his arm. They said the ice machines were not working and they were waiting for a repair person. They must have been waiting for years because the machine had cobwebs older than the building and it clearly has not been connected to a water line for a very long time. There was trash lining the halls and a pile of towels on the floor that was not picked up in the 12 hours we were there. Honestly if we had a car and didn’t need to be in that area we would have left immediately. Don’t waste your money or your time with this place.
