Our family of 4 stayed 2 nights while we explored Mammoth Cave National Park. Everything was great, except when we arrived the pool was unavailable due to servicing and the next day it was open. The pool was very cloudy and not the cleanest, other than that we loved our stay. The workers were friendly, it was clean, and the breakfast was great!

Horrible evening staff.(except the morning staff at front desk was very helpful to answer questions) rooms are not clean. IHG would not allow to post a negative review on their site, so i am posting it here. rooms very slippery and wet barely ready to occupied. there was no shampoo or soap. the big containers were empty!!! how the cleaning staff miss that??? unless she/he was in a hurry to leave. i found the cleaning towel on top of the phone. Cleaning solution on the entrance floor. Very disappointed in Holiday inn. The first time and i will vary of booking another with this chain. Paid holiday inn price for a Motel 6 experience. wanted a clean comfortable room to stay the night after a long travel very disappointed with the experience. My advise check out the room before you stay. i was too tired to argue. The guy at the front desk looked like a zombie. had this dazed look, didnt even acknowledge someone is infront of him!! Sorry to leave a such a review. May be it was a isolated occurene and it was a bad day for those people that day. I dont know. definitely was not happy. so check out before you unload your stuff and make sure it is to your expectation.

Do not use this hotel!!!! The rooms smell, pool is dirty, coffee machine for breakfast didn't work, noisy, dirty hotel, desk staff take breaks all at the same time leaving no one to help you. Leaving you waiting for a long time for assistance. Manager is a heartless & unkind person. Rude!

Perfect hotel near mammoth cave. Hotel was nice and clean and was able to even provide a roll out bed for us. Front desk staff was very friendly and nice (think the ladies name is Natalie) We would definitely stay here again. The kids love the heated pool too!
