Sleep Inn Horn Lake-Southaven

When I check in the one girl was getting off ,so her bf was up there talking to the lady and then she and girl had to take 15 minutes doing something,and when I check out at 10:56 the new lady at front desk has a attitude yelling my name after she told me to sit to side while they checked room and then going put my money in envelope that she use to checkin but I give to the other woman in her hand

We are in the area on business, found this gem. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly, well most of the staff. The house keepers not so much! Very noisy grounds keepers and very noisy guests. Not a place to “Sleep Inn” so to speak.

The worker that checked me out was terrible….. Be aware and do do a deposit in cash….. I’m a nurse and came down for a funeral. We checked out and the clerk immediately went to the room. She stayed gone for a while and came back with 2 small towels and a 2 big towels and stated it’s makeup on them and I can’t give you your deposit back. I informed her that those are finger prints and not a full towel of makeup and she started the towels was 25 dollars. So I told her to give me a receipt for the towels and my towels since I bought them she then started to argue and said I will call the police and have you escorted out so I called them , When they got there it was a understanding officer I asked for the manager information and she gave me the hotel number….. I got a police report and pictures of the towels. I will be filing suit because I’m sure I’m not the only this scheme has happened to…. Do not do a cash deposit because they are looking for ways to try to keep your money and she put the money her purse and gave me change from her purse….. This will not be the end ….. This was very disappointing

Only complaint were could use bigger pillows and missing iron witch one of the previous guests my have taken But was replaced at a moment notice Very friendly staff Gym was nice Plenty of TV channels

Lovely staff, great location, close to restaurants and grocery store. (Restaurants include Memphis BBQ, Applebee's, Cracker Barrel, Texas Roadhouse, Freddie's, Arby's, and a buffet next door to Target. Kroger grocery store is also right there all within walking distance. Will be staying again!

We stayed at Sleep Inn Horn Lake during our latest visit in Memphis, TN. We loved our overall experience and will visit again! Clean rooms, Convenient Location and Friendly staffs. Will recommend this hotel to our families and friends.

Do not stay... Dirty rooms, nasty sheets.. Rude front desk employees. Placed a $100 hold on my credit for incidentials... 4 days I have yet to get this released... Run from the site.. Nasty... Not safe... wholes in walls where it has been hit with fist.

6/2/2022 We booked the hotel through the Choice App ( NEVER AGAIN ). We checked in and got our things to our room. Once there and settled I go to check the beds and there was a big juicy bed bug on the sheets . We immediately got our things together and went downstairs to let the lady’s know. Once down there explaining what we saw and showing pictures, another couple came down furious because the room they were in had bugs, stains on sheets and pillows . The two lady’s at the front desk were clueless about what to do. Didn’t know how to process a refund and even went on to tell us that “there’s a lot of rooms to clean and they try to keep them all clean”. After demanding our 100$ deposit back ( that we weren’t aware of until we got there ), we got that and we’re told that there was nothing else they could do due to us needing our money back that we paid with a card for the rooms because we couldn’t wait 3-10 business days for a refund . No help from them at all . No on-site management and anything else . My children cried because we didn’t know where we were gonna go being that it’s 11:00 pm and we’ve been on the road all day . NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER STAY HERE . And I’m making sure this review goes on EVERY site I can think of . ( STILL HAVEN’T GOTTEN OUR REFUND BACK FOR THE ROOMS THAT THE LADY SUPPOSEDLY ISSUED)

This was the worst hotel I have every stayed at. It was dirty, the chairs in the lobby were so dirty and stained. When I got to our room we had no towels the girl at the front desk gave a 2 bath towel but did not have any clean hand or wash clothes. There were several other customers requesting towels. The internet did not work I complained to the manager and she said it never works. The TV only worked for an hour except for the TV in the lobby it worked fine. I was told it was because of the remote or the TV the girl asked me to bring the remote down to her. Several other people were also complaining about no TV or internet. The room was also so dirty it was late when we got there so we had to stay. The towels had holes in them and the shower was so bad I did not use it. The breakfast was undercooked eggs. The lady cooking was a sleep most of the time in the corner so people had to go to the front desk to see if there was any more food it was always out. The rooms were very noise. This was a nonsmoking hotel but the front desk would smoke out side the front door bringing the smoke in the hotel.
