Beaches and Dream was so well organized and relaxing. It was so nice to have all excursions set up before we got there and the warm welcome we received when we got there. Beaches and Dream is definitely a “Must Try” place!

1. The staff members, guides are inviting, helpful, fun. Guide Victor Hernandez is very knowledgeable about everything in Belize and the culture. In addition to being very caring, he is hilarious! 2. All adventures/tours are arranged by staff. Transportation to and from excursions is planned and taken care of. 3. All guides are wonderful, accommodating, and educational. 4. English is the national language. 5. Dollars are accepted everywhere. (Take a lot of $5, $10, $20 bills) 6. Safe. No Cartel nor crime. 7. Adventures are exciting. We did rappelling down Antelope Waterfall, cave tubing, jungle rides on horseback and ATV, zip lining in jungle, ruins tours, snorkeling. 8. Food is excellent. 9. Accommodations beautiful, including shower. No TV tho ( which I suppose is the purpose of vacation). 10. Entire staff, guides, housekeeping, restaurant employees make you feel like family, refer to you by your name. We were given fresh coconuts, bananas, oranges while on jungle tours. Everyone is happy!

We went for our 10th wedding anniversary for a 4-day weekend. Beaches and Dreams exceeded all of my expectations. Fun and friendly staff, amazing tours, comfortable beds, and phenomenal food! They made us feel like part of the "family" and took care of every need imaginable for us. We got the breakfast-only package and ended up eating most of our meals there simply because the food was so well-done. The town of Hopkins is perfect- not too touristy, but the locals are friendly and we always felt completely safe. Easy to navigate on bicycle or golf cart, both of which are very easy to rent from lots of places. Beaches and Dreams also arranged all of our transportation to and from the Belize City airport, as well as all of our tours, which made the whole experience stress-free. Every single tour guide and employee was so incredibly kind, fun, genuine and helpful, it was almost unbelievable! For the first time ever, I might repeat a vacation just because it was such a great experience-- can't wait to return with the kids someday.

Everyone at Beaches and Dreams was amazing and made me and my family feel like we were a priority for them. From the office seeing we had a flight delay to automatically updating our flight on the local jungle plane, to the nanny who watched our seven year old and made him feel special that he was in charge for those hours. Every driver we had shout out to Oz, Keith, K-mike, and captain Floyd especially, to everyone at the restaurant. Beaches made an impact on us and made our trip to Belize very special.

We honeymooned at Beaches and Dreams and it was amazing. Booking was so easy, excursions were planned well, food was great, and the room was perfect. I cannot say enough great things about the staff.. Donna, Kelsey, Keith, Manuel, Oz, Edward, the cooks, receptionist, and the various behind the scene workers that we did not get to know - all work so hard and are great at their jobs. I would go back again just for the staff. Thank you for giving us the perfect trip, letting us have the opportunity to learn about your culture and life in Belize, and so much more. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay at both Beaches and Dreams and Parrot Cove. Beaches was booked so our rooms were at their sister resort, Parrot Cove, just steps away from Beaches, however our meals and tours were all done with Beaches. We had an incredible experience at both boutique resorts and can highly recommend both of them. Our meal/drink plan was with Beaches and Dreams (food was excellent with many daily specials), however I highly recommend Chef Rob's (Parrot Cove) chef's table dinner on Fridays. It was an incredible 7-course meal prepared by Chef Rob as we sat around the table watching him cook our dinner. He even took our tuna catch from our fishing trip and used it as one of his appetizers. The staff at both hotels are incredible and very accommodating. We had the perfect amount of adventure and relaxation. We learned how to make chocolate, went snorkeling (definitely wear a swim shirt), visited Mayan ruins, went cave tubing, caught fish for our dinner, went ATVing and ended our stay with an incredible relaxing massage. Our three boys (all in early 20's) also had a great time.

Beaches and Dreams hotel, located in southern Belize in a small town called Hopkins, was just the place for a relaxing yet eventful and adventurous 10 day vacation. At the onset, I wish to note that we both HIGHLY RECOMMEND this boutique hotel! This was our first trip to Belize and a goal was to pack in lots of adventures. We selected Hopkins as we wanted a less crowded tourist scene, adjacency to Mayan ruins, a vibrant Garifuna community, and a host of other adventures that this hotel offered. The staff is very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, personable, kind, and thoughtful - from the office staff to the guides and drivers. A huge shout out to the Darnells (yes, there are two!) and both were helpful in planning our trip. We arrived at the Dangriga airport from Belize City (try and catch a flight from Belize City to Dangriga as it's a scenic 10-seater Cessna Caravan puddle jump across mangrove swamps as compared to a land transfer). We were met at the Tropic Air airport by Manuel, a local with a broad smile with local history and knowledge to share with us as we drove through Hopkins to the hotel. At the hotel, Darnell and Justin gave us the run down of the hotel, our inclusive meal and drink package, activities, etc. and escorted us to the Butterfly Room, a second floor room in the newer 3-story part of the hotel. It had a spacious balcony which overlooked the pool and out to the blue Caribbean Sea. Ah, the sunrises were epic! It was a great room to come "home" to after an all day adventure. We enjoyed every meal at the Barracuda Bar and Grill and felt like family at the end of our stay. The restaurant staff, especially Miss P, Kelsey, and King, really took us under their arms to insure we had all we needed for meals and drinks. My favorite dinner was the banana leaf wrapped snapper. My husband enjoyed the pork shank - best ever he said! The desserts change daily and were all so very good - favorites were the key lime pie, lava cake, hummingbird cake, and ice-creams. Drinks and fruit smoothies - enjoyed all day with the drink package, were refreshing and tasty with a beautiful delivery of pineapple or lime in them. I signed up in advance for an excursion every day of our stay. The one rest day we had, the first day, was actually spent in a hotel in Dallas as we missed the connection from Phoenix to Dallas due to a huge storm. Luckily, we didn't miss any of the activities as they were truly one of a kind adventures. We booked a guided kayak trip with Victor (& expert birder) up the Sittee River, visited Xunantunich, Nim Li Punit, Lubanntun, a Spice Farm, went cave tubing (awesome and not to be missed!), two snorkel trips to the South Water Caye, boated up the Monkey River, Birding (with Victor) and, one of my favorite activities was the Garifuna Immersion cultural tour, complete with making our own hudut Garifuna lunch with Oowana, a history lesson with her father Eugene, and topped off with a drumming lesson with none other than Warren Martin

I had a truly memorable stay at Beaches and Dreams. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome—attentive, warm, and genuinely interested in how our excursions were going. Their charm and affable nature added so much to the overall experience. It didn’t feel like the usual tourist-resort interaction—they really cared. We stayed in the “Treehouse,” which was the perfect setup for a family. The loft layout gave the space a fun, cozy feel, and the blackout curtains were a surprising luxury that helped us get some deep rest. The air conditioning was excellent—strong and reliable, which made a huge difference after long days in the heat. For the price, the value was outstanding. The waitstaff, especially Doreen and Armando, were fantastic—friendly, accommodating, and always attentive to our needs. It was also incredibly convenient to use WhatsApp to communicate with the front desk. Whether I needed to rent a golf cart or ask a quick question, I could do it all without having to trek through the heat. Shout out to Oz, Ben, Justin and (will ad names soon) I let the staff know what excursions I was interested in, and they carefully and thoughtfully planned everything out, making sure to plan in a day of rest or two as well .The cave tubing and Mayan ruins tour were unforgettable, filled with both adventure and a sense of wonder. Zip lining was incredible and my 7 yr old had a blast. Bioluminescent lagoon was amazing, a crocodile swim right up to our boat!! But the snorkeling trip, WOW . Swimming above the coral reef was absolutely life-changing. It was mesmerizing in the truest sense, a glimpse into a whole other world of color and movement I’ll never forget. Ofc Ke-Mike, Floyd and Anthony help make it even more unforgettable. One of the most touching parts of this trip was the warmth and friendliness of the local people. So many were open, generous, and eager to share stories about Belize, about their families, about their lives. It made the experience feel not just like a vacation, but a genuine human connection. Between the thoughtful room setup, exceptional service, seamless communication, meaningful excursions, and the deep kindness of everyone we met, this trip was everything I hoped for and more. Beaches and Dreams lives up to its name.

Beaches and Dreams was such a fantastic place for our family vacation. The staff are incredible- made us feel at home and cared for. Everyone knew our names and by the last day I was getting teary eyed leaving. We did tours every day and ate most of our meals right at B&D. The fish dishes are so delicious! We celebrated two birthdays, and with arranged for a cake- homemade carrot cake - so good! Our favorite activities were the zip line, massages on their deck, snorkeling, and the southern Mayan ruins and spice farm tour. We also rented a golf cart one morning and went into the town of Hopkin to explore a little. That was great! We can’t say enough about the staff here and comfortable accommodations. We hope to be back!
