Coconut Row Boutique Hotel

The stay at Coconut Row was the best we've ever had in years of traveling in the Caribbean. The cottage was perfect. It was clean and all we needed for the evenings. And the porch was ideal for watching the sunrises and sunsets. The beach is spectacular and only steps from the cottage. We dined at the restaurant for all of our breakfasts and lunches, and the food was truly excellent. Every staff member we encountered treated us warmly and accommodated every need. And there's not a lot to ask for with the beautiful beach and ocean! Hopkins Village is a charming area and the local restaurants (and ice cream) were terrific. Damian, the owner, was genuinely interested in how our stay was going but was never intrusive. Our only regret was that our trip ended!

We stayed in the Sunrise Suite. Beautiful beachfront view with patio. They surprised us with Happy Honeymoon written on a leaf and flower petals on the bed when we arrived. Spent 6 days here. Everything was super clean, they even keep the grounds and beach tidied up all day long. Spent mornings floating in the ocean and the afternoons in the pool. Drinks and food at the restaurant/bar were really good. The place was more intimate than being at a large fancy resort. Staff knew us by name and were very helpful. They brought my husband coconuts straight from the trees. The Ladies at the Bar were always smiling and I enjoyed many tasty margaritas by the pool. Shantel was amazing and helped with whatever we needed, massages, golf cart rental, any question we had (and we went to her a lot) she was right on it for us. The town itself is great, the people are super friendly. We spent a few days, evenings at the Driftwood Bar and Restaurant, down the street. They also had good food and some nights they had local drumming. There is a market right across the street from the Resort, they have pretty much everything you need. We had kitchen in our suite, so we stocked up on beers and seltzers! We did the Ruins Tour and the Night River Bioluminescent Tour. Highly recommend both. I definitely want to come back and I would stay here again! Hubby and I get tattoos when we visit other countries. Inkologist Tattoos with Marvin on the last day was great. We also took the little plane through Tropic Air into Dangriga, it was a short shuttle ride away that we arranged with the resort. Tropic Air calls the resort for you when you check in so they know when to pick up. Makes it super easy! We chose this place based on many different site reviews and they defiantly live up to and exceeded expectations.

Just returned from 9 glorious days of vacationing at coconut row 2days ago and we are ready to book again for next year! This place was the 💎 we were looking for which was laid back style,good dining and a very wonderful&pleasant staff! Their website was spot on in my opion on what they offered and what guest can expect! We loved going to the local restaurants in the area on the days 🥥 husk was closed too! Btw,we booked a cabin for 7days,and moved to a room for 2days,both accommodations were very comfortable!

This place is awesome. Location- excellent. Walking distance to everything in Hopkins. Service- incredible. The Coconut row team cannot help enough. We had the chance to meet the owner, excellent guy. The entire team from security, groundskeepers, front desk, housekeeping, all incredible. Rooms- fantastic. I recommend getting a cabin. Great beds, hot shower, very clean. Food- excellent and reasonable price. Pool- excellent and clean View- fantastic view. Rent a golf cart and explore.

Coconut Row is the best hotel to stay in Hopkins, Belize. Beside the beautiful accommodations, beach is fantastic and the food and restaurant staff are amazing. We ate in the Coconut Husk restaurant 3 times, never disappointed. Food was delicious. Friendly service and fast. We loved that Damian the owner came to our table every time to ask how things were. He really takes pride in his hotel and staff and it shows. The groundskeepers were always on the beach cleaning and chatting with us. They do such great work. Best beach ever! Our accommodations were 5* in every way. Bed was so comfortable, room so clean and that view, beach and ocean, doesn’t get any better than that. A BIG shout out to Deyri, Danika and Shantel in the front reception office. They immediately welcomed us and made us feel like friends instantly. I can’t say enough about these ladies, always smiling and to remember our names every time amazed us. I miss seeing them every day. We are already planning a trip back to Coconut Row next February. We LOVED it! Last but not least, our guide to the Mayan Ruins and cave tubing was Ricky. He went above and beyond his job, so nice. He was such a pleasure to chat with, so kind and informative the whole time. We look forward to seeing everyone when we return.

Coconut row is a little piece of paradise. You’re staying in the village versus the hotel section so it’s less busy, the beach is quieter, and the many restaurants along the beach are more authentic. The hotel itself is amazing, it’s small so you really get the quiet for relaxing but it’s mighty in the sense that everything there is perfection. We stayed in a cabin on the beach and the bed wasreally comfortable, the room was clean and well appointed but the best part is the staff. They are the most friendly staff I have met in all my 30 years of travel. They know you by name and always have a smile on their face. We just got back from our 15 years anniversary trip and loved it so much we booked for next year already.
