This hotel is rubbish, like a brutal gang in a movie. I kept banging on the door in my underwear. They told me that I had to check out at 11 o'clock. I said that they didn't tell me to check out at 11 o'clock when I checked in, and asked me to give them 30 minutes to pack my luggage. They told me in a very bad tone that they only had 5 minutes to pack their luggage and leave. I was ten minutes late, and they asked a gardener to kick me out. Oh my god, this is the first time I've stayed in a hotel like this.

Very excessive mould in shower which was obvious and therefore should have been cleaned. Food and service very good but hotel exterior needs tlc at rear. At over £30] per night we have stayed in better hotels for less with better spa facilities. Views are magnificent but resting on laurels a little.

Everything about this hotel is great The scenery is amazing, you cannot get tired of the beautiful views The staff are friendly The rooms are huge and very comfortable. Particularly loved the bath Food was of high quality. Highly recommend and cannot wait to come back

We had a truly wonderful stay at Losehill House Hotel and Spa. The food was incredible- I really recommend trying the tasting menu, which was genuinely extraordinary in its quality, creativity and flavour. All the staff were knowledgable and friendly and seemed happy to be working there, but particularly those in the restaurant. The spa was delightful and our bed was incredibly restful and comfortable. The location was beautiful and perfect for hiking or exploring the local countryside or villages. We genuinely loved our experience and we hope to go back as soon as possible.

The hotel is in a gorgeous location with every window showing on to magnificent views. Rooms are spacious and luxurious with bathrobes, towels and flip flops provided daily for use at the pool. Breakfast is magnificent and you could quite honestly eat for the day. Nothing is too much trouble likewise with dinner which is served to friendly Michelin standards. I am allergic to dairy and the chef and waiting staff went above and beyond. They had got in dairy free spread, yoghurt and milk for me and after identifying myself the first time I never had to mention it again. Nothing was off limits ( except the cheese) at breakfast and I was able to mix and match so I never once felt I had anything less. Again at dinner I was told to choose whatever I wanted and chef would make adjustments for me… which he did. My husband said the cheese plate was to die for and I was quite envious…. Our room was serviced efficiently, quickly and beautifully every day and done thoughtfully. For example rather than just replacing tea bags randomly the housekeeper took time to see which ones we were using and to replenish with more of those. Little touches that might go unnoticed but make a difference. We would both highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.

This was our second visit to Losehill House Hotel and it was all that we remembered from our first visit. Every member of staff was so friendly and made us feel welcome. The food is fabulous, we stayed for 3 nights so were able to try out quite a few different dishes. The restaurant looks out over the hills so is a perfect setting for a relaxing meal. Our room was very clean and comfortable and also looked out over the hills. Just beautiful. There are some lovely walks in the surrounding hills. A perfect place to stay for a relaxing break. We'll definately be back!

Hotel is situated in a tranquil area, the service and facilities are excellent. The surprise for us was the standard of the restaurant. If you want a chilli out break in an amazing setting with great food and service I can highly recommend a stay.
