Hope Cove house is an exceptional boutique hotel. Only meters from the water you can hear the waves, the decor is stunning and rooms beautifully equipped. I used the venue for my business Zenaa Retreats, and it was perfect, calm and welcoming, all the guests has an incredible time and I can't wait to come back again in September. A massive thank to the owners Ra & Ollie who were the best hosts we could ask for.

Have just had an amazing long weekend yoga retreat. The food was fabulous, best breakfast ever! Beautiful room and views. Stunning location. Hosts were welcoming. Beautiful coastal walks nearby. Lovely village, friendly prople. Would definitely go back.

Spent a lovely weekend here on a Wellness /a yoga retreat. Beautiful hotel, with warm and inviting decoration. Bedroom was beautiful and I had a sea view. Beautiful views, food was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommend and planning on going back. Short walk to the beach and sandy beach within 5 min walk. Coastal walks and pub lunches - what more could as for

This has to be the highlight of Hope Cove. It’s an absolute hidden gem. Beautiful relaxed home feel, lovely people, and the food is simply brilliant - every single dish. Don’t just read the reviews, try for yourself…. And then come back again, and again.

We visited with my parents (who had been before) for dinner and were not disappointed. A warm friendly welcome with delicious food in a charming environment. The Lemon Sole was one of the best I’ve had for a long time. Fantastic views from the table. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend

Perfect location right next to the sea, fantastic friendly and welcoming owners making you feel really at home, excellent service all round, comfortable bedrooms with great views and delicious food. Nothing too much trouble. What more could you want!

Practically perfect in every way! This has been on my wish list for some time and did not fail to impress in every aspect. Alexandra, Oli and their fantastic team were so welcoming and accommodating. Yes, it rained a lot during our 3 night stay but I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else. The views of the bay are mesmerising, you melt into the sofas, and the music creates a dreamy chilled vibe. The food and drink are another level. We didn't plan to eat there every night but one taste and there was no going back. I will be dreaming of the fish and iberico pluma dishes for some time. Definitely one to go to all-year-round. My 11-year-old son loved it so much he begged for us to re-book before we left!

We’ve probably had more than half a dozen lunches here throughout the summer from April - September and each one has been perfect in every way! We go round from Salcombe by boat as it’s by far the best place to eat in the area. We are always greeted by the wonderful staff or owners with humour and professionalism. The menu is always tempting and different and unfailingly delicious……don’t miss this not so hidden gem 😊

We arrived at HCH for the Bank Holiday weekend on Friday afternoon and were delighted to find that our room was ready at 3pm. We were given a very warm welcome by Alexandra and Oli…. We loved our room, fantastic views of the sea on one side and the hills on the other side. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The whole hotel is beautifully decorated and designed with attractive furniture, lighting and superb attention to detail. It’s home from home and has a great atmosphere. We stayed for 4 nights and loved the breakfasts, (best granola I’ve eaten for a while) and fresh fruit, delicious yoghurt and as much tea and coffee as you like. Homemade apple juice too! (We only ate there once in the evening as we were with family so ate in their cottages or at other restaurants.) The fish was the best Sole I’ve eaten since Italy and the crab was delicious. My husband chose Padron peppers which were cooked perfectly. Wonderful wine menu and great service. I would stay here again and not fail to give it 10/10. Thank you Alexandra and Oli. We’ll be back!
