Hooton Lodge Farm Campsite

The festival was excellent, drinks voucher system worked well, kept the queues down (although thought using two £5.50 vouchers for a double shot drink was a bit much) this was the first time we had camped at Hooton lodge too. Camping ground was ok, could have benefited from some portable shower blocks & more portaloos as there were a lot of campers & only 4 portaloos on the field, by Sunday only one was usable 🤢 Festival vibe & atmosphere was excellent, staff were great, we will definitely visit again.

What an amazing first festival experience for my little stall. The forge it festival was extremely well organised The rules for the day were very well set out. The staff were amazing and couldn’t help more if they tried. Security were fantastic and it was obvious there was a huge emphasis on safety. The whole area was very clean and the toilets were checked regularly The whole event ran on time and as stated vas very well organised I’d love to come back Huge thank you for having me The forest fae

Ok, let me start by saying this review isn't about the place,, it's about VI tipi rental. It says LUXURY, not a chance. The beds where so uncomfortable,, they where just camp beds with metal rails up each side. They had something similar in medieval times,,, they called it the RACK !!!!!!! Was partner was charged £270 for 2 night's. It's a bloody disgrace not to mention a total rip-off. Would have been better sleeping on a nest of hedgehogs. So in short, for £270 you can spend 2 nights in a tent and it is just a basic pointy tent,and get very little sleep, and come away with a bad back. My recommendation is stay well away from VI tipi when visiting this place

Great site not to strict you can't have fun but rules in place so everyone can enjoy it. I was dubious of the beer tokens but they assured me it would work well and it did no stupid cues at the bar like other events only down side came home with 16 quid of tokens what cant be refunded rookie error we should have just bought drinks to take back to the tent with us. Four of us attended the Let’s Forge It Festival at Hooton Lodge on 26th July and had the most amazing time! From the moment we arrived, everything was so well organised. What really stood out was how much the owners genuinely cared about everyone having a great experience. You could tell they had put so much thought and heart into the event. Throughout the day, they were visible, checking in with people and making sure everything ran smoothly. At the end of the night, they personally made sure everyone was getting home safely – whether it was helping people into taxis or making sure lifts had arrived. That level of care is rare and really appreciated! The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and fun. The staff were all lovely, which added to the positive vibe. It was extremely family-friendly too, with loads to do for kids of all ages. The food outlets were varied and delicious, and drinks were reasonably priced with no queues. The entertainment was outstanding – some of the best live acts we’ve seen. Pink was absolutely brilliant! We were up dancing from the minute we arrived at 12:30pm. We’ll 100% be coming back next year. A truly unforgettable day!

Just returned from an absolutely superb two nights camping for the Let’s Forge It tribute festival. As first time visitors we had no idea what to expect but it’s clearly a very well oiled machine. The staff at check in were lovely and we were shown exactly where to pitch our tent. It’s really handy being able to park at your pitch as well. The camp site was super clean and tidy and the toilet and shower facilities spotless too. With it being a festival weekend it was quite busy but there portaloos strategically placed so it wasn’t too far to go during the night! The event space is fantastic and I don’t think I’ve ever been to an event where the staff work so hard to ensure it’s kept clean and tidy all day. In fact the staff in general were fab all so friendly and welcoming. A stand out for us a family with a 6 year old was that it’s enclosed and contained with a fab play area and inflatables to bounce on as well as stalls and a couple of fairground rides. Everything was good value and our daughter had an absolutely brilliant time and made friends with other children. Drinks prices were reasonable and the food choice and value was also good. We also found that it was absolutely minimal queuing for drinks and food. The singers and bands that played the festival were brilliant and we all had a really fun day, it was a great crowd and atmosphere. Really looking forward to visiting again in the future.
