Omdat ik binnen,9 dagen 2x "in de buurt" moest zijn, zoek je toch gezelligheid op: dat heb ik gevonden! I.p.v een zakelijk hotel. Week 1: hotel/restaurant was vanaf aankomst een ongedwongen sfeer. Leuke, relaxte barman (21) en collega's die 't snapte. warm welkom geheten, wees me op wat voordeeltjes. Kamer voldoet prima. Slapen, schoon, prijs/kwaliteit ok. Ik dacht: ik ga een beetje op tijd eten want ik moet morgen vroeg weg. 18:00 eten, tent VOL! en top eten!! Omdat ik 's morgens vroeg weg moest, keurig netjes ontbijt pakket in koelkast bij m'n kamer gereed. Was dus al zeer tevreden. 8 dagen daarna: barman en collega (vriendin van chefkok?!?) begroeten me hartelijk en spreken me bij naam aan. Stukje herkenning/waardering? Ik kwam 's avonds pas laat aan (22:00) en restaurant was aan het sluiten. Daarna AL het (jonge) personeel nog lekker de werkdag doornemen aan de bar. Zegt voor mij veel over de bedrijfscultuur!!! Ik nog een drankje blijven doen na m'n lange reis en uiteindelijk blijken hangen aan de bar met een leuk, gemêleerd publiek van lokale bevolking, oud eigenaar, personeel en ik zei de gek! Zeldzaam dat ik voor "zomaar een slaapplaats onderweg" het zo naar m'n zin heb gehad. Mix tussen herberg/taverne waar iedereen stiekem van droomt. Prijs/kwaliteit in alle opzichten DIK in orde. Complimenten! Voor herhaling vatbaar, én zeeeeer aan te raden qua eten, logement, sfeer en de hang naar vroeger. Bedankt. Zeldzaam dat ik zoveel woorden aan een review spendeer. TOP!

Aanrader! Zeer goede menukaart, heerlijk eten, zeer vriendelijk personeel, mooie omgeving, prijzen zijn prima, absolute aanrader. Hier komen we zeker terug. Dus twijfel niet, ga erheen, terras in de zomer is geopend maakt het helemaal af.

Leuk restaurant op n mooie locatie met enorm veel plekken. Van te voren gereserveerd omdat het altijd druk is daar. Je kan kiezen op verschillende plekken in het restaurant. In de Serre, in restaurant of buiten op het terras. Vooraf (aan te bevelen ) mosterdsoep en hoofdgerecht spareribs. Erbij gebakken aardappels met patat, warme groeten. Erg lekker allemaal ☺️✅👍🏻. Vriendelijke bediening.
