Westcliff Lodge

This is an absolutely beautiful piece of property! It is so peaceful there along the river and we loved how they had chairs and benches for guests to enjoy as we watched the beautiful sunset. The room was clean and quite large. Hard to understand why it doesn't have more stars, we loved it here!

This place is so beautiful, the only problem is that its a long way from where we live, otherwise we'd have to go once a month! We have traveled a great deal but no where have they had a wine opener and wine glasses for us. We also had a high top table to play cards, a comfy bed and a fair sized balcony with chairs and a table where we also played cards. The place is covered with so many flowers and is just a lush setting. Wish we could go back!

Hotel was great overall but there was no service at the hotel which shouldn’t have been an issue but there was also not really wifi though they claimed they had it. There was also no window covering over one window which made it hard to sleep past 6am in the summer! Otherwise all great.

We recently had our wedding at this stunning venue and lodge, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! The views are absolutely breathtaking — truly some of the best in the Gorge — and the entire experience was incredible from start to finish. Erik, the Assistant General Manager, was amazing to work with. He’s warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. He supported all of our ideas, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. He was available for vendor walkthroughs beforehand and worked closely with us to create a custom setup that matched our vision. The venue staff was also excellent — they handled every bit of setup seamlessly and without a hitch. Everything ran like clockwork, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our day to the fullest. On top of being an incredible wedding venue, the lodge itself is gorgeous and peaceful. We can’t wait to come back for a future stay! Whether you’re planning a wedding or just visiting Hood River, this place is a gem.

What a gem in Hood River. The view from our 1st floor room with balcony of the Columbia River was stunning. The grounds are incredibly beautiful and well cared for. Beds were comfortable. Always a perfect stay. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, amazing views and the grounds have wonderful gardens everywhere. The staff is very friendly, including the gardeners and cleaning staff. Highly recommend spot to stay in Hood River
