We had a very good time. Beautiful weather even made it better. All staff members, we encountered, were very friendly and knowledgeable. Are breakfast was very good too. The history of the hotel was intreguing. Grounds were very pleasant. Would like to go back in the Spring to see the full floral display. An excellent property and maintained beautifully!

The hotel was lovely and historic. The room was a little smaller than expected because of that. The room was clean and we had a nice view. We would have liked a TV that either allow us to stream or had streaming services but the internet was not strong enough.

It sure would be nice if you had a secure bike parking area other than the front entrance. The grounds are beautiful. I wish the light fixtures in the lobby and bar were more old fashioned and it had a big chandelier instead of that weird light. Thanks

One of the great treasures of the Pacific Northwest. Old, regal building..not perfect, but historic and beautiful. Gorgeous setting. Stayed here for my wife and my 20th anniversary. The brunch is great (and a good value) as well, although I wish it started earlier than 11:30AM.

Fantastic view of Columbia River and across to Washington. Watched and listened to the train going by. wonderful staff; very helpful and attentive. Simon's Cliff House restaurant has wonderful menus and food was great. The CGH is a landmark and has stood the test of time. Our 3rd trip and look forward to going again soon.

Staff was awesome!!! Beautiful views, great food and drink! I don't think i've ever had service as excellent as at the columbia gorge hotel. The grounds were amazing and the waterfall was incredible. View of the river was really good. Would definitely recommend!

Disappointing and expensive - we reserved early - later found out the room the price that was advertised for a room that was not finished...Our window did not close and tape put over the 6 in opening that didn't seal...so our room was cold and loud - right on the freeway.... no hot coffee in the morning and there are added grounds fees to the room costs. We had hoped for romantic anniversary spot....

A charming and beautiful place to relax for a few days, wish we could have stayed much longer! The hand-cranked elevator is just one piece of the inn's history, and it was lovely to see the eclectic decor throughout the property tell the story here.

The hotel is always a great place to stay! We come for the Great Northwest Wine Competition every October. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. It’s also fun to see the same staff take care of us yearly. The new carpet, paint and bed linens look wonderful. Thank you for everything 🍷
