Horsefeathers Hotel

We stayed at the Horsefeathers Hotel during my son’s wedding weekend. His fiancé reserved the entire hotel consisting of 4 Units. It was so fun to be able to have the bride and groom and their families stay together. We stayed in the Lookout. It has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen and family area. The kitchen and family area have many windows and a deck that overlook the valley. The views are incredibly beautiful. .I loved the layout of the kitchen. Each unit was thoughtfully designed. The larger three bedroom, 2 bathroom unit has the same stunning views and is very nice. The one bedroom, one bath units are also nice and each have small kitchens too. The fresh flowers in each unit were such a nice touch. The hotel is conveniently located on a hill in town. You can walk to restaurants and shops from the hotel. The owners are attentive and went out of their way to insure that we were comfortable during our stay.

My family and I stayed at the Horsefeathers Hotel this past weekend as our headquarters for my wedding weekend. Every aspect of the stay was perfect! The initial pull to this hotel was its location in downtown hood river, ample space for my family and our in-laws as well a the ability to cook our own food and use the kitchen space leading up to the wedding. These aspects were all perfect but what made it above and beyond is the service we got from Chris and his wife. They made sure we had everything we needed, accommodated an early check in and late check out and were readily available when we had any questions. The Horsefeathers is a great gathering space and undoubtedly helped our weekend go smoothly and facilitated a space to spend time with family. I highly recommend staying here, especially if you are looking to do a buyout for a large family or group.

We stayed at the Horsefeathers Hotel for our wedding this past week and it was the PERFECT place to stay! It sits in the middle of the town so you have excellent views, easy to walk anywhere and it made everything easier for us. The hosts were so attentive, sweet and made sure everything was stocked up and to our liking. The place itself was spotless, comfortable and more than spacious. We are 100% coming back next summer to stay here again. We cannot recommend it enough!

Very highly recommend! We just had a wonderful stay at Horsefeathers. The property is beautifully restored, stylishly decorated, and filled with lots of thoughtful touches to make it a comfortable stay. Immaculate, too. Kitchen, bathroom and laundry had everything we needed. We were in unit 301 on the top floor, which has two great outdoor spaces and an amazing view of the town and river. (Because it’s built into a hill and parking is on the same level as the top floor, there was no stair-climbing required to get to the unit with your luggage.) Great location, a block from the heart of downtown. Communication with the owner was great, instructions were very clear and helpful. I have nothing but positive things to say.

Quick getaway Place was as advertised. Cozy, clean and quiet. Owner was easy to get ahold of and very communicative. Will definitely go again.

Beautiful boutique hotel right in downtown. I've stayed there several times for work in the different rooms and furnishings are super and suites are easy to access. Each suite has been warm and inviting and fully stocked with kitchenware. Great location being one block away from restaurants and shopping on Oak Street. Owners are very accommodating for my needs. The available WiFi is 1G and very reliable which is critical for me to use for work. Adjacent community park and historic stairway connecting the community are unique features and add to the ambience of the location.
