Cebu Hostel (Block E) Reviews

The receptionist is efficient and fast. The room is quite clean for the price i paid. If you're someone especially solo traveler who travels in budget and just needs a place to sleep, i recommended this hotel. The location is in the center of the city, busses and subway easily accessible on foot, the hotel is on the 3rd floor and lift available. There are plenty of restaurants on the ground floor, and the convenience store is within walking distance.

Had a great stay. The room was peaceful and quiet. Only one or two roaches here and there but not as much as other hotels in Chunking mansion. The guy who checked me in was kind and respectful. I highly recommend 👍🏽

Not too bad! Just a little bit small. But it’s enough for us to get a good rest.

Got a very cheap room. So assumed it would be small, but it was by ChungKing mansions standards huge. Bathroom was probably the biggest I have seen. Bed was a double bed. There is not much view given you are facing towards an internal light well. Also facilities all worked very well, with hot water on tap anytime you wanted and shower was powerful. Only drawbacks were the facilities looked a little old and I made the mistake of not keeping the extractor fan on in the bathroom on the first night and a smallish creep crawley was waiting for me in the sink the next morning...so keep the extractor fan on and I had no issues for the rest of my two week stay. There was a kitchen and hot water and coffee all provided. Staff friendly and helpful. I could not get the microwave to work on all occasions but other guests did not seem to have the same problem with it? So for the money it was excellent value.

It is near Tsim Sha Tsui, and there are many fun things around. Although the space is small, the facilities are complete. The boss is a foreigner, very enthusiastic, and the service attitude is also very good. I will book it again next time I come to Hong Kong.

This hotel is completely unavailable. I originally booked a two-night stay on July 20/21. After booking, I wanted to postpone my stay for a week, but the hotel refused to cancel. Thanks to Ctrip for helping me communicate, but the hotel still refused to reschedule. Thank you very much for Ctrip's coordination throughout the process. I strongly do not recommend this hotel and suggest that it be removed from the shelves.

In the famous Chungking Mansions, there are actually many houses in recent years. This one has a private bathroom, and the price for two people is very cheap. It is actually quite convenient to live in Tsim Sha Tsui, and it is very close to Yau Tsim Mong and Causeway Bay. It is also within walking distance to the Avenue of Stars. The air conditioning is quite good, and the table may be dusty and needs to be wiped by yourself. The space is also small. But in terms of cost performance, it is still recommended for people with limited budgets, and there is a private bathroom. Girls are better off not going alone.

Super complicated to find the entrance. And the reception is not at all like it appears in the photos. It was the cheapest option in Hong Kong. It wasn't bad but it was located in a bit of a weird area. The best thing is that it was pretty well located.
