In conclusion, it was absolutely wonderful. I have stayed at many accommodations in the past, but this is in the top three of my life. It has a reputation for being one of the best Paradors, and it was true. The building has a Hogwarts-like atmosphere, the rooms, the amenities, the breakfast, the view of Paris on the opposite bank, the quiet environment and people in the villa area, and the delicious restaurants and bars within walking distance. I would like to come back to Hondarribia just to come here.

Espectacular Parador, muy bien conservado. Nos dieron una habitación impresionante, muy grande con dos ventanales que tenían unas vistas preciosas. El Sr. de recepción, muy amable y muy simpático. El bar muy bien atendido y con mucho ambiente. El desayuno un poco justito pero lo que había muy bueno.

Hôtel historique comme tous les Parador Site remarquable Parking privé possible mais il faut savoir bien manœuvrer sa voiture si vous arrivez en fin de journée… (20€/ nuit) Grande chambre, bien équipée Hôtel incroyable pour le cadre Petit-déjeuner décevant par ses propositions et l’accueil du personnel pas terrible Rapport qualité / prix trop élevé

Un lieu d'exception, sur un site remarquable. Quel endroit sublime. Dormir dans ce château médiéval se mérite car, attention, l'accès en voiture est très compliqué par les rues tortueuses de cette ville ravissante et attachante. Cette hôtel "de luxe" et chargé d'histoire offre cependant un service très en deçà de son classement et de son prix très élevé. Pas d'eau mise à disposition dans les chambres, produits sanitaires inexistants dans la salle de bain dont la peinture s'écaille, pas de porteur pour les valises et surtout un petit déjeuner médiocre, obligatoire dans la réservation. Dans nos souvenirs, le service était plus haut gamme il y a 10 ans lors de notre dernier passage. Le lieu reste enchanteur et mérite le détour.
