We like to inform our guests because the seaweed could potentially prevent enjoyable use of our beach. If there is seaweed on our beach, there are many other beaches available that will not have any. It depend on the winds and the tide. It comes and goesThis condition is unpredictable on a week-to-week basis and something that is out of our control. This historic property is over 200 years old and has been restored with much love and care as a 4-unit building. The original yellow Danish bricks throughout the exterior have been preserved and allocated with great attention to detail, providing a unique experience. The floors are original old pine, restored thanks to many months of work preserving their impressive longevity. "The Guardians" a bronze artwork by sculptor Ward Tomlinson Elicker, is permanently located just steps from your front door.Located just 1 block from the boardwalk, The Moko Jumbie Premier unit has 1 large bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms, both with floor-to-ceiling Carrara marble. The main bathroom features a glass and marble shower, and the bathroom windows have a beautiful view that looks out into nothing but private greenery. The fully equipped kitchen has matching stainless steel appliances, including a full fridge, gas range, microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen island doubles as a dining table with extra storage beneath. You can also enjoy horseback riding, kayaking, sailing, deep sea fishing, surfing, sharks at Buck Island, hiking, museums, rainforrest and much more!There are 2 grocery stores near Caribbean Dreamin. Both less than a beer or island cocktail away! (yes you can drink and drive here on St. Croix) Pueblo is about a 3 minute drive and Food Town is about a 1 minute drive. You don't have to go far from the condo...You have it all at Caribbean Dreamin-OR-Drive your car(on the left of course!) and explore the rest of the island. With Christiansted just a few minutes drive away you can easily check out the boardwalk, duty free shopping, great dining, nightlife and more. The West End has great beachs, restaurants and a revamped pier. Also, the Botanical Gardens, Rum Distillery, Domino Club(in the rainforest)with the beer drinking pigs and sandy point. On the North Shore you have some great beach bars, Cane Bay is a great beach for swimming, snorkling and diving. Carambola is just past Cane Bay(if your coming from the condo) they have a great restaurant, beach and golf course.Drive around and find your own beach-their easier to find in the low season, but still possible in high season as St. Croix does not get as crowded as our sister island-St. Thomas. These are just a few reasons why renting a car even if for a couple of days is a great idea. If you don't get a car, taxi's are plentiful to get from one place to the next. I would at least recommend doing the TanTan Tours one of the days though!
