Located just 10 minutes from downtown Southport, a short 5 minute drive to Oak Islands beautiful beach, and walking distance to great restaurants. Guests will find their stay here pleasant and welcoming. Carolina Tides is a modern, two-bedroom, two-bath beach villa located on Oak Island NC. We have a well-supplied kitchen, cable TV, WiFi, washer / dryer, direct beach access, seasonal swimming pool & hot tub (seasonal, April 15 thru October 15), elevator, free parking and much more. This villa is an end-unit on the quiet side with lots of natural light. Our complex is in the perfect "vacation location", directly across from the Yaupon Beach Fishing Pier, Koko Cabana bar and restaurant, Ruby's coffee shop, and the Lazy Turtle Bar and Grille just a block away. Also, less than a mile to the East is Oak Island Golf Club and their new Duffer's Pub and Grille. Enjoy palm trees and ocean views right from your porch. There is also a shared outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. Oak Island Lighthouse is about a three mile walk along the beach to the East. Just off the island is the beautiful and historic town of Southport, NC. *PLEASE NOTE: 1) Our HOA prohibits boats, trailers and golf carts on the property. We apologize if this is an issue but we are unable to accommodate any type of trailer. 2) We have a pull-out Queen-sized couch and can sleep up to 6 guests. However, our linen contract only provides for the two bedrooms and 4 guests. If your party has up to 6 guests, you can use the pull-out couch but you will need to bring your own queen sized linens, pillow cases and bath towels for the additional guests above 4. Just ONE Block from the beach, your family will be close to everything when you stay at the centrally-located Ocean Walk! We are located steps from beach access and the facility has a HUGE pool! Right in the mix, you will never have to stress about parking and be walkable to the beach, groceries, restaurants, and more! This two bedroom unit is spacious at nearly 1300sqft! Plenty of space and beds for you, friends, family and pets so that you can have an amazing coastal retreat!!The Ocean Walk community is a fun place to enjoy and experience Oak Island. While the condominium is in the mix, when you step into the space you get a great since of peace and privacy! This space is huge at nearly 1300sqft! Entering the unit you will have both the bedrooms on your right and left. The primary bedroom has a large KING bed, TV, and a private en suite with a walk-in shower. Its a great place to steal away from the group for a bit after a long day! The other bedroom is very spacious with enough room for a queen bed and a twin over twin bunk! This room also has an en suite that connects to the hallway. There is also a roll away bed and pack and play on site so that you can mix and match the rooms as you need to fit a large group or more than one family! As you work your way down the hall, you pass the full bathroom and the laundry that is in unit for your use. This takes you into the OPEN living space where you have the kitchen, peninsula with barstool, high top table, and living room. Its a great place for entertaining the family after a long day on the beach. The kitchen is fully loaded and the bar is a great place to serve up some meals or set up the buffet! The living room is equipped with great sofas for your nap off the beach or your movie night with the family. The Smart TV has cable and all your streaming needs! While we don't have a formal balcony, the slider in the living room can open up to bring that outdoors in! On site at Ocean Walk, you not only are close to the beach, you have access to the pool, outdoor dining spaces, and Charcoal grills. Pool is set to open on April 15th and will be open through the second week in November!! The beaches of Oak Island are just a short drive over the ICW. (3.2 miles to Oak Island Pier). Par 3 Golf is available less than a mile away, and Oak Island Golf is just 3 miles, by Caswell Beach.There are many area restaurants, but the condo is located next door to the very highly rated restaurant, Joseph's Italian Bistro. Rusty Hooks Dockside Grill is a 2 minute stroll, with sunset views from their expanded deck and Tiki Bar.A 6 mile drive takes you to historic downtown Southport, where you can amble through the many Boutiques & Antique Shops, Southport Market, Bakeries, Craft Beer and Wine Bars. Visit the Maritime Museum, or lounge in a swing chair on the lawn while watching the Cape Fear River boat traffic. Take a sunset cruise...highly recommended, and maybe a Ghost Tour in Southport! If you are a thrill seeker, you might be tempted to try a skydive experience, which is available 5 minutes away.
