Amazing
AAnonymous UserStayed in a duplex. Size was cozy for 4A2C. Top floor has 2 single beds. Bottom floor had 1 queen and 1 super single. Small kitchen, has an outdoor patio for BBQ (host will setup fire for you, grill is provided foc). There was one free laundry wash (owner washes for you)per visit. We stayed 4nights and was struggling a little, especially in winter. Would have preferred for them to have one washer/dryer for guests to do own laundry.
Service was prompt and owner (retired couple) was friendly, ever ready to assist.
AAndreasMThe accommondation offers a luggage storage in the communal area which is protected via camera. The staff is not available in person throughout the day beside the check-in time. We got a free room upgrade because of our ”long-term” stay. The room was small with two beds and an own bathroom but enough and clean. The mattress is very hard and uncomfortable.
The best part was the free basic breakfast (coffee, tea, eggs, toast, butter, yam) and the communal area and kitchen to eat, work and communicate.
It´s nearby the bus terminal to reach all parts of Gyeongju including the KTX train station.
GGuest UserI had a really good time at a pretty hanok. The hanok itself was so pretty, and thanks to the owner who kindly smiled and welcomed me, the kids made a lot of good memories. The breakfast prepared with bread, fruit, eggs, and cup ramen was also good, and it was great that it was close enough to tourist attractions to walk around. If I have another chance to go to Gyeongju, I definitely want to come back.
AAnonymous UserThe room is more spacious, clean and comfortable than expected. It is very suitable for a large family to play together. There are many quilts in the closet, which can be spread in the living room to sleep more people. It is really convenient. There is also a children's swimming pool in the yard. If you come in summer, you can play in the water. It is early autumn. You can see the golden rice fields not far away when you open the window. The surrounding environment is very quiet and peaceful. It is very comfortable to live in.
BBartlomiej GuzowskiI had stay at the king rooms, The bed was big and comfortable, big room with plenty rom to store bags. The bathroom was clean with big shower. The host was very friendly , i was able to leave my bags before check in and check late. Location is amazing jut few minutes walk from the park with the graves of the kings. quick walk from bus top to train station, the bus takes about 40 minuets to station.
GGuest UserWe had a very nice stay at Ran Hanok. Upon arrival we were welcomed and introduced to the building and our room. The Hanok is nicely located close to various historic sites which can be easily reached by walking or cycling along the riverbanks. Breakfast was a bit few (for a european) but was kindly served. The Hanok room has not much of equipment inside which is ok and part of the concept of traditional living. However, the floor heating was a completely new experience. Futon mattresses are kinda thin though and you might experience some back/hip pain.
DDominic Leong YSLocation is a bit far from the city centre. And if one takes public transport (bus) on Sunday or public holiday, allows 2 hours to city as the tourists roads all jammed up. Otherwise, the hotel is nice with free coffee in the morning. The room floor is heated so even on a very cold night, the room feels very comfortable. The surrounding area is quite after 8pm at night, which is nice for people like us who wants a quiet night after a day walking around.
GGuest UserLocated in the ancient city of Qingzhou, the yard is very large and beautiful. The room is Korean-style without beds and chairs, sleeping on the floor. The bathroom is clean but the facilities are very primary, and the shower nozzle water is relatively small. Very suitable for tourists who want to experience the Korean-style homestay. The front desk was very good. We lost our mobile phone. We took us to the police station to communicate with the police. Finally, we found it. I was very grateful.
SSofia_PoeThe room is clean, it has a mini-kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom. I loved the shampoo! There's a garden outside.
There's no reception, so you need to contact the owner to make arrangements. As far as I understand, there's a 15k-per-person fee if you check-in after 10 pm, but i wasn't asked for it in the end.
The location is a bit far away from the city centre: you need to walk for around a kilometre to the nearest bus stop (11, 100). There are a few convenience stores and restaurants on the way.
GGuest UserPros: Spacious two-floor space. Quiet and wonderful place to relax. The very large private pool and the public pool is nice. The view in the back is of fields. There is a private outdoor seating for every room. book rooms 4,5, or 6 for better views.
Cons: A little out of the town. Cabs are easy to get unless it is raining or late a night. Suggestions for the hotel: please arrange for simple breakfast. There are no close by places to eat. The coffee shop opens at 10 am. Also please provide bath towels instead of just hand towels. The bed was small and very hard. The bedroom is very large so a larger bed would be nice.
With a better bed and a provision for breakfast, I would stay here again.
